    摘要: A processor receives interrupts of a same type from hardware. The processor determines a rate at which the interrupts are being received. The processor compares the rate at which the interrupts are being received to a threshold rate. In response to determining that the rate at which the interrupts are being received is greater than the threshold rate, the processor sends just the first received interrupt to firmware for processing. All other of the interrupts are not sent from the processor to the firmware but instead are suppressed by the processor. By comparison, in response to determining that the rate at which the interrupts are being received is less than the threshold rate, the processor can send all the interrupts from the processor to firmware for processing.

    摘要: An electrical device including an electrical power cord secured to a base of the electrical device by using a plug having a pair of resilient prongs. The plug is inserted into an opening in the base to secure a strain reliever on an end of the electrical power cord into the opening. The resilient prongs flex towards each other when the plug is inserted into the opening. The prongs return to their original positions after passing through the opening and seat the plug in the opening. When seated, the plug secures the strain reliever into the opening thereby securing the electrical power cord to the base.

    摘要: A catheter is provided with improved position and/or location sensing with the use of single axis sensors that are mounted directly along a length or portion of the catheter whose position/location is of interest. The magnetic based, single axis sensors are provided on a single axis sensor (SAS) assembly, which can be linear or nonlinear as needed. A catheter of the present invention thus includes a catheter body and a distal member of a particular 2D or 3D configuration that is provided by a support member on which at least one, if not at least three single axis sensors, are mounted serially along a length of the support member. In one embodiment, the magnetic-based sensor assembly including at least one coil member that is wrapped on the support member, wherein the coil member is connected via a joint region to a respective cable member adapted to transmit a signal providing location information from the coil member to a mapping and localization system. The joint region advantageously provides strain relief adaptations to the at least one coil member and the respective cable member from detaching.

    摘要: An electronic device is formed of multiple, alternating layers of conductive polymer and metal foil electrodes, in which electrical connections between selected electrodes are provided by cross-conductors formed by plated through-hole vias. More specifically, the device includes a first cross-conductor that electrically connects a first set of electrodes, and a second cross-conductor electrically connects a second set of electrodes. Correspondingly, the first cross-conductor is electrically and physically isolated from the second set of electrodes, while the second cross-conductor is electrically and physically isolated from the first set of electrodes. The electrodes are etched to form an isolation gap that isolates that electrode from either the first or second cross-conductor. The first and second cross-conductors, in turn, are formed by plating the through-hole vias, so as to establish electrically-conductive contact with those electrodes not separated from the via by an isolation gap. Thus, a device may be formed with N non-metallic (e.g. polymeric) layers and N+1 electrodes, where N is an integer greater than 1, wherein a first cross-conductor electrically contacts a first set of electrodes, and a second cross-conductor electrically contacts a second set of electrodes, whereby the non-metallic layers are connected in parallel.
