摘要: An assembly and method for effecting the condition of a mitral valve annulus of a heart includes a guide wire configured to be fed into the coronary sinus of the heart, and a mitral valve annulus therapy device configured to be slidingly received on the guide wire and advanced into the coronary sinus of the heart on the guide wire. A guide tube may further be employed for guiding the device into the coronary sinus. An introducer which may be employed for pushing the device into or pulling device out of the heart has a mechanism for releasably locking to the device. This enables substitution of the device if needed. Also, the crossover point of the circumflex artery and coronary sinus may be determined and avoided when the device is deployed.

摘要: A method of treating a patient with a pulmonary disease, where the method includes delivering a dose of aerosolized medicament intermittently to a ventilator circuit coupled to the respiratory system of the patient. Also, a method of treating a patient with a pulmonary disease, where the method includes taking the patient off a ventilator, and administering to the patient, a nebulized aerosol comprising from about 100 μg to about 500 mg of a medicament. Also a method of treating a patient with a pulmonary disease, the method comprising administering an aerosolized first medicament comprising amikacin to the patient and administering, systemically a second medicament comprising an antibiotic to the patient that also treats the pulmonary disease, wherein a resulting amikacin concentration in the lung and/or pulmonary system is therapeutically-effective, and an amount of the systemically administered antibiotics is reduced.

摘要: The present invention relates to a method and an arrangement for distributing fault information from a lower level network management node to a higher level network management node in a network management architecture comprising modules logically representing network nodes and network links under management. The higher level network management node subscribes to at least some detailed fault information. And, a notification comprising a summary of fault information sent by the lower level network management node is received by the higher level network management node. Then, the higher level network management node retrieves the subscribed detailed fault information from said received notification.

摘要: A system and associated method for gathering data necessary for exchanging a product between at least two partners. Each partner in said at least two partners resides in a different country. The method provides for gathering information regarding the product being exchanged and more specifically a delivery location, a returning date and returning location if the product is being returned to said sending partner, a single valuation for said product being exchanged, a lot number for said product, clean-room requirements for said receiving partners, a product history, and a genealogy of said product being exchanged. After collecting the information, the method formats said information according to the specific receiving partner's requirements. The method further determines the appropriate method of transmission according to each receiving partner's requirements. Finally, the method sends each receiving partner their specifically formatted version of the information regarding the product being exchanged.

摘要: A therapeutic sandal is provided that includes an upper component having a front strap assembly and a rear strap assembly for securing a foot to the upper component, and a lower component, cooperative with the upper component, having at least one fulcrum object attached to the bottom surface of the lower component. The lower component is replaceable with another lower component with at least one different fulcrum object attached thereto. The lower component has at least one or two compressible fulcrum objects thereto. The lower component can also have at least one substantially non-compressible fulcrum object attached to the bottom surface. The invention provides a means for effectively exercising different muscle groups of the legs. The therapeutic sandals can be advantageously used by young children, in part due to the element of novelty and fun provided by wearing and using them, thereby encouraging a child to continue their use.
