    摘要: An optical module comprises: a sub-mount 1, having four photodiodes 12 and two guide grooves 10 disposed on an optical element mounting surface 16; a fiber fixing member 2, having four V-grooves 21, four concave mirrors 22, and two guide rails 20 disposed on an optical fiber fixing surface 26; and four optical fibers 3, fixed to the fiber fixing member 2. With this optical module, the sub-mount 1 and fiber fixing member 2 are aligned and fixed by the fitting together of the guide grooves 10 and guide rails 20. A passive alignment type optical module that enables mass production and cost reduction is thus realized.

    摘要: A squib connector assembly for energizing a gas producer to make it ignite, the squib connector assembly comprising a first component for supporting a male electrical connector element; a second component for supporting a female electrical connector element engageable with the male electrical connector element; and a short-circuit element selectively switchable between a short-circuit position to electrically short-circuit the male electrical connector element and a non-short-circuit position. A flat-plate-like noise filter having electromagnetic wave absorbing material is arranged between the first component and the short-circuit element, so as to allow the male electrical connector element to extend through it and surround the male electrical connector element. This can provide the squib connector assembly that can adequately meet the demand for miniaturization and space saving.

    摘要: The present invention aims to prevent forcing of pins when a female connector is obliquely inserted into a shunt. A shunt fits into a cylindrical socket concavely formed in an external face of a housing of an airbag inflator and short-circuits of a pair of contact pins of a squib of the inflator. These pins rise at the center of the socket from the bottom to a point near to the opening. The shunt includes an annular wall having a fitting hole into which the pins enter from the bottom side of the center thereof and into which a female connector fits from the top side, and a short-circuit piece provided on the annular wall, which will contact both of the pins when the shunt is fitted into the socket, and will be pushed to move away from the pins when the female connector is fitted into the fitting hole. To prevent forcing or bending of the pins if the female connector is improperly obliquely inserted into the fitting hole of the shunt, the height of the annular wall is not less than the sum of the depth of insertion of the female connector into the fitting hole in the axial direction of the pins when the female connector is inserted obliquely plus the height of the pins from the bottom of the socket.

    摘要: An aperture stop control device for a zoom lens system includes a variable aperture stop, a first sensor for determining the diameter of the aperture stop and providing a first electrical signal representative of the diameter of the aperture stop means and a second sensor for generating a second electrical signal indicative of a designated F number. A signal generator provides a third electrical signal indicative of the focal length of the zoom lens system. A computing circuit computes an output electrical signal as a function of the second and third electrical signals to control the diameter of the aperture stop for automatically maintaining a designated F number during a zooming operation.
