摘要: An optical touch apparatus and operating method thereof are disclosed. The optical touch apparatus comprises an optical module, a light sensing module, and a processing module. The optical module and the light sensing module are set at a first side and an opposite second side of a surface of the optical touch apparatus respectively. The optical module receives a light source and uniformly emits a plurality of lights. When at least one of the plurality of lights is blocked by an object above the surface, the light sensing module generates a sensing result based on the condition of receiving the plurality of lights. The processing module determines a touch point location corresponding to the object on the surface based on the sensing result.

摘要: The invention discloses an integrated circuit package. The integrated circuit package comprises a substrate having a first surface and a second surface opposite thereto and a first hole passing through the substrate from the first surface to the second surface. A plurality of conductive lines is disposed on a portion of the second surface of the substrate. A semiconductor chip is disposed above the second surface of the substrate, wherein a chamber is formed between the semiconductor chip and the substrate. A plurality of bonding pads are disposed on a side of the semiconductor chip which is toward the second surface of the substrate, wherein at least one of the bonding pads are electrically connected to one of the plurality of conductive lines. A first heat dissipation layer is disposed in the first hole, and extends into the chamber. A method for fabricating the integrated circuit package is also provided.

摘要: The invention provides reference patterns marked on a non-data side of an optical disc. When the optical disc, according to the invention, is installed within an optical information recording apparatus, the reference patterns enable an optical pick-up unit of the optical information recording apparatus to register at at least one reference radial position on the no-data side of the optical disc. The at least one reference radial position is for assisting the optical pick-up unit to record a label on the non-data side of the optical disc.

摘要: An apparatus for driving a fluid includes a substrate, at least one electrode group and a controlling unit. The substrate has at least one plane. The electrode group is disposed on the substrate and includes a first electrode, a second electrode and a third electrode. A projecting position of the second electrode on the plane is disposed between that of the first electrode and that of the third electrode. The controlling unit electrically connected to electrode group is for driving the first to third electrodes. When the controlling unit drives the first to third electrodes to make the first and third electrodes have opposite polarities and to make the second and third electrodes have the same polarity, an electric field produced by the electrode group enables the fluid on the substrate to flow from the first electrode to the third electrode.

摘要: The invention provides a microinjection apparatus for a fluid. The microinjection apparatus comprises a substrate, a manifold, at least one fluid chamber, and at least one thermal sensing film. The manifold is formed on the substrate for containing the fluid therein. The at least one fluid chamber is also formed on the substrate and in communication with the manifold. Furthermore, the fluid chamber has a respective orifice and a respective heater disposed adjacent to the orifice. In addition, the thermal sensing film corresponds to the fluid chamber and is formed on a surface adjacent to the orifice. It should be noticed that the thermal sensing film has a respective color changeable in response to a heat generated during operation of the corresponding heater.

摘要: The invention pertains to an optical disc capable of storing the usage status of a label side of the optical disc. The optical disc includes a data side, the label side, and a plurality of partition marks. The data side is configured to read and write data thereon by utilizing an incident laser beam, and the label side is configured to form an image. The label side also has a plurality of partitions defined thereon. The partition marks are arranged on the label side and initially set in a first state. The partition marks are capable of converting from the first state into a second state. Each partition marks corresponds to one of the partitions. When the image is formed on the label side, the partition marks corresponding to the partitions where the image is formed are converted into the second state to indicate the usage status of the label side.

摘要: A slide-in structure (210) inside a cradle set (200) for accommodating a personal digital assistant (PDA) module (10) is disclosed. The slide-in structure comprises a base plate (220), a sliding stand (230) and a pushing arm (240). A connector (204) of the cradle set is fastened to the sliding stand via a circuit board (206). The base plate has a pair of sidewalls (222, 224) and two sliding grooves (226) located on of the sidewalls. The two ends of the sliding stand are inserted into the respective sliding grooves so that the sliding stand is free to move relative to the sliding grooves. The pushing arm is in contact with the sliding stand. The pushing arm resiliently pushes the sliding stand to one side of the sliding grooves and provides a buffering force when the PDA module engages with/disengages from the connector in the cradle set.

摘要: A transponder assembly for use with fiber optic digital communication cables having multiple parallel optic fiber elements. The transponder assembly features a transmitter port and receiver port for connection with separate parallel optic cables for separately transmitting and receiving data and an electrical connector for connecting with computer or communication systems. The transponder assembly includes a parallel optic transmitter module and a parallel optic receiver module having pluggable edge connectors. The assembly also includes a circuit board on which a semiconductor chip useful for signal processing and the electrical connector are mounted. A flex circuit is used in connecting the circuit board to the parallel optic modules. The semiconductor chip and electrical connector are mounted directly across from one another on opposite surfaces of the circuit board.

The rubber layer has a protrusion (118) to press the metal dome so that the metal dome is electrically coupling to the flexible PCB. The operating button is located on the rubber layer. The button is adapted to press the protrusion, which in turn presses the metal dome.
