摘要: A multiple display apparatus for displaying an image with projection of a plurality of images from a plurality of image projecting means 10p, 10q onto a screen is disclosed. The plurality of image projecting means 10p, 10q are disposed such that their images are projected substantially from one point onto the screen 20. Thus it is possible to realize superior display quality without pronounced display in any overlap part.

摘要: A backup unit comprises a first storage means containing at least one program and a setup file in which the operating environment of that program is written; a second storage means used when the first storage means has a fault; a duplication means for duplicating the program and the setup file contained in the first storage means, into the second storage means; and an identifier conversion means for converting identifiers included in the setup file of the first storage means and relating to the first storage means, into identifiers relating to the second storage means, when the duplication is performed. Therefore, when the operation of an information processor is stopped due to a fault in the first storage means, the second storage means enables temporary operation of the information processor. In addition, it is possible to employ, as the second storage means, a recording medium that is lower in price and writing speed than the first storage means.

摘要: A liquid separator of the present invention comprises a first plate member, a second plate member forming a receiving portion between it and the first plate member for receiving a flexible liquid container including liquid separated into the upper liquid layer and the lower liquid layer, and pushing means for pushing the second plate member toward the first plate member, said pushing means automatically pushing the second plate member with gradually decreasing pressure after starting the discharge of the upper liquid layer from the flexible liquid container. Therefore, the upper liquid layer can be discharged from the flexible liquid container without disturbing the boundary between the upper and lower liquid layers in the flexible liquid container. Thus, the upper liquid layer can automatically and efficiently be taken out from the flexible liquid container without mixing with the lower liquid layer and without any complicated and troublesome manipulation. If the discharge of the upper liquid layer is automatically stopped with a sensor detecting the boundary between the upper and lower liquid layers, it is possible to decrease errors of the sensor caused by the disturbance of the boundary.

摘要: A rotary electric machine comprising a stator and a rotor arranged opposedly of the stator. A magnet is provided on the stator or a frame for holding the stator at a position so as to be constantly opposed during rotation to a portion of the magnetic body of the rotor. The magnet is disposed at a position other than at a portion at which the magnetic action for rotation of the rotor occurs. The rotor is therefore constantly biased so that rotor play is minimized and non-repeatable deflections of the spindle are eliminated.

摘要: An improvement in a capacity control valve for use in a fluid compressor with a relatively high pressure HP and a relatively low pressure LP for changing the operational characteristics thereof by using the relatively high pressure HP taking into consideration that an increased pressure loss of the refrigerant as generated from an increased flow rate thereof and the thermal load on the car cooler would occasionally occur on the part of the relatively high pressure HP during the operation. Wherein a capacity control valve, of the type operative to take the intermediate pressure AP, for the control of a specific amount of compressed gas to be bypassed to the suction side of the fluid compressor, as a linear function of the relatively low pressure LP using a differential pressure between the relatively high pressure HP and the relatively low pressure LP of the fluid compressor, comprises an adjusting device adapted to adjust the intermediate pressure AP in such a manner that the relative low pressure LP is made lower as the relatively high pressure HP becomes higher, and the relatively low pressure LP is made higher as the relatively high pressure HP becomes lower.

摘要: An electronic clinical thermometer comprises a circuit for measuring and displaying the temperature of a portion being measured, a secondary battery for supplying electric power to the circuit, rectifier means connected to the secondary battery, a power receiving coil connected to the rectifier means for inducing a voltage in response to a change in an external magnetic field applied to the power receiving coil, and a hollow bar-shaped casing housing the circuit, the secondary battery, the rectifier means, and the power receiving coil. The secondary battery can be charged efficiently through the power receiving coil in response to the change in the external magnetic field. An apparatus for charging the electronic clinical thermometer comprises container means having a cylindrical cavity for accommodating a plurality of electronic clinical thermometers, a power transmitting coil disposed around the cylindrical cavity, and a.c. supply means for supplying an alternating current to the power transmitting coil, whereby the secondary battery can be charged by exciting the power receiving coil through inductive coupling between the power transmitting and receiving coils with the power transmitting coil positioned closely to the power receiving coil in the electronic clinical thermometer that is accommodated in the cylindrical cavity.
