    摘要: Standard SNMP error reporting between a network element and a management system utilizes a set of standard error codes that provide limited information about a fault condition. Example embodiments of the invention provide reporting of an extended error code that provides information for locating the source of a fault condition and for debugging the fault condition. In response to a first request, the extended error code can be reported to a management system. In response to a request following the extended error code, meanings associated with the extended error code are reported to a management system, thereby informing a network administrator of the fault condition.

    摘要: A method and an apparatus for liquid safety-detection by backscattering with a radiation source are provided that relate to a radiation detecting technology field. The invention comprises using a radiation source, a collimator, a detector, a data collector and a computer data processor, and has the main steps of: 1) placing a liquid article to be detected onto a rotatable platform; 2) emitting a ray from the radiation source, said ray causing Compton scattering at the surface of the liquid after passing through the package layer of the liquid article; 3) the scattering photons being received by the detector after passing the collimator; 4) the detector transmitting the received data to the data collector; and 5) the data collector transmitting the amplified and shaped data to the computer data processor, which processes the data to obtain the liquid density of the detected article, then compares the result with the densities of dangerous articles in a current database, and gives a warning if the density of the detected article is consistent with that of a dangerous article. Compared to the prior art, the invention is convenient to use, detects rapidly and accurately, has a strong anti-interference, is very safe and reliable to use, and protection is easy.

    摘要: One aspect of the present invention relates to quinine-based and quinidine-based catalysts. In certain embodiments, the quinine-based and quinidine-based catalysts contain a hydroxy group at the 6′ position. In certain embodiments, the quinine-based and quinidine-based catalysts contain an O-aryl group or an O-aroyl group at the C9 position. Another aspect of the present invention relates to a method of preparing a chiral, non-racemic compound from a prochiral electron-deficient alkene or prochiral imine, comprising the step of: reacting a prochiral alkene or imine with a nucleophile in the presence of a catalyst; thereby producing a chiral, non-racemic compound; wherein said catalyst is a derivatized quinine or quinidine. In certain embodiments, the nucleophile is a malonate or β-ketoester. In certain embodiments the nucleophile is an alkyl or aryl or aralkyl 2-cyano-2-alkylacetate. In certain embodiments the nucleophile is an alkyl or aryl or aralkyl 2-cyano-2-alkylacetate.
