摘要: Methods are provided for making a treatment composition by loading active components into a high pressure vessel and pressurizing the high pressure vessel with carbon dioxide to reach a pressure within the high pressure vessel of about 400 pounds per square inch to about 1,070 pounds per square inch. The active components can include a protein denaturant and a surfactant, and optionally an acaricide. In one particular embodiment, this method can be used to clean a substrate, by loading the substrate into the high pressure vessel prior to pressurizing with carbon dioxide. Methods are also provided for treating a substrate to clean it from dust mites by delivering dry ice particles to the substrate, and vacuuming the substrate. Treatment compositions are also generally provided.

摘要: This invention relates generally to the field of cell separation or isolation. In particular, the invention provides a method for separating cells, which method comprises: a) selectively staining cells to be separated with a dye so that there is a sufficient difference in a separable property of differentially stained cells; and b) separating said differentially stained cells via said separable property. Preferably, the separable property is dielectrophoretic property of the differentially stained cells and the differentially stained cells are separated or isolated via dielectrophoresis. Methods for separating various types of cells in blood samples are also provided. Centrifuge tubes useful in density gradient centrifugation and dielectrophoresis isolation devices useful for separating or isolating various types of cells are further provided.

摘要: The invention provides a composition for chemical-mechanical polishing. The composition comprises an abrasive, a first metal rate polishing modifier agent, a second metal rate polishing modifier agent, and a liquid carrier. In one embodiment, the first metal rate polishing modifier agent has a standard reduction potential less than 0.34 V relative to a standard hydrogen electrode, and the second metal rate polishing modifier agent has a standard reduction potential greater than 0.34 V relative to a standard hydrogen electrode. In other embodiments, the first and second metal rate polishing modifier agents are different oxidizing agents.

摘要: A blade server that includes at least two data processing modules for receiving data and processing the received data; an exchange backboard for achieving data exchange between the data processing modules, and also for achieving data exchange between each of the data processing modules and an interconnection module; the interconnection module for achieving connection and high-speed data exchange between the data processing modules; an I/O interface module for achieving a connection between the blade server and an external network; and a management and control module for controlling the switching between the data processing modules and also for monitoring and managing the blade server. The blade server unites multiple networks such as a high-speed network, an Ethernet, a KVM network and a management network, reduces the cost for high-speed exchange, and reduces the delay for network exchange.

摘要: Provided herein are immobilized liquid membranes for gas separation, methods of preparing such membranes and uses thereof. In one example, the immobilized membrane includes a porous metallic host matrix and an immobilized liquid fluid (such as a silicone oil) that is immobilized within one or more pores included within the porous metallic host matrix. The immobilized liquid membrane is capable of selective permeation of one type of molecule (such as oxygen) over another type of molecule (such as water). In some examples, the selective membrane is incorporated into a device to supply oxygen from ambient air to the device for electrochemical reactions, and at the same time, to block water penetration and electrolyte loss from the device.

摘要: The method includes: a reader begins to count the tags, and waits for feedback of the tags; the tags are split into two subsets if the tags feedback the collision, the tags of one of the subsets feedback, the tags of the other subset begin to feedback when the tags of one of the subsets complete the count; when the collision occurs in the course of feedback, then the split continues until all the tags are completed the count; the tags of many branches are at least once split simultaneously when the tags of the subsets are split.
