    摘要: A single-phase, storage-stable, emulsifier-free polyol mixture comprising 100 parts of a relatively high molecular weight polyoxyalkylene polyol of OH number from 20 to 120, which has at least 5% and less than 80% by weight, of terminal oxyethylene blocks; from 1 to 100 parts of a low molecular weight diol mixture which is a reaction product of ethylene glycol, butane diol-1,4, or a mixture of ethylene glycol and butane diol-1,4, with from 0.05 to 0.50 mols of alkyl oxiranes; from 0.1 to 5 parts of solubilizing additives comprising one or more salts, the cations of which are from Groups I, II and III of the Periodic Table, ammonium or mono- to tetra-alkyl ammonium ions, and the anions of which are produced by removing at least one proton from an acid having a K.sub.s value of at least 10.sup.-7 ; and, optionally, other compounds having isocyanate-reactive hydrogen atoms and other auxiliaries and additives for polyurethane production. Also polyurethanes produced using these polyol mixtures.

    摘要: A compound having a terminal isocyanate group is hydrolyzed to produce a polyamine having a urethane and/or a urea and/or a biuret group. More particularly, a carbamate is made by mixing an isocyanate prepolymer having urethane and/or urea and/or biuret groups present with aqueous base solutions at a temperature of from 0.degree. to 0.degree. C. and in quantities such that the equivalent ratio of hydroxyl to isocyanate groups is between from 0.3:1 to .gtoreq.1.01 to 1. The carbamate is then treated with an acid ion exchanger to form an amine. The amine is then removed from any other material which may be present. A preferred polyamine thus-produced corresponds to the general formula: ##STR1## in which each R radical may represent a divalent straight or branched-chain aliphatic radical; a divalent cycloaliphatic radical; a 4,4'- and/or a 2,4'-dicyclohexylmethane radical; or a 2,4- and/or 2,6-methyl cyclohexane radical. Such an amine may be reacted with a polyisocyanate and optionally with other known additives to form a polyurethane plastic or foam.

    摘要: Compounds having both s-triazine units and epoxide groups present are prepared by reacting an epoxide containing an isocyanate-reactive group with a triisocyanate corresponding to the formula: ##STR1## in which X is as defined herein. These reactants are used in quantities such that the equivalent ratio of isocyanate groups to isocyanate-reactive groups is maintained at less than or equal to 1 to 1. The compounds thus produced are particularly useful as reactive cross-linkers in the production of polyurethanes and polyepoxides.

    摘要: Molded polyurethane articles are made by reacting polyisocyanates with polyol compositions obtained by chemical decomposition of polyurethane and/or polyurea waste in a mold. The polyol compositions employed in this invention have an OH value of from about 100 to about 500 mg KOH/g, a water content of from 0 to about 5 wt. % and a viscosity at 20.degree. C. of more than 2,000 mPa.multidot.s. These molded polyurethane articles preferably have a sandwich structure in which the core is a polyurethane and there is at least one outer layer made from an optionally fiber-reinforced plastic material. These molded polyurethane articles are useful in the motor vehicle, furniture, machine and equipment manufacturing industries.

    摘要: The present invention is directed to composite structures by thermoplastically shaping an assembly of at least two flat thermoplastically formable plastic materials placed in layers one above the other and optionally at least one upper, lower and/or intermediate layer containing a reinforcing or filler material under such conditions of temperature and pressure that shaping is accompanied by intimate union of the individual layers of the assembly, characterized in that at least one of the flat plastic materials is based on a polyisocyanate polyaddition product having a density of at least 0.8 g/cm.sup.3 which has been prepared by the reaction of(a) aromatic polyisocyanates,(b) compounds having a molecular weight of 1800 to about 12000 and containing a statistical average of at least 2.5 isocyanate-reactive groups, optionally(c) diamines in the molecular weight range of 108 to 400 containing two primary and/or secondary aromatically bound amino groups, and optionally(d) (cyclo)alkanepolyols and/or (cyclo)alkanepolyamines in the molecular weight range of 60 to 1799 optionally containing ether groups,by a single stage or multi-stage process at an isocyanate index of 60 to 140, wherein at least one of components (c) or (d) is used in a quantity such that the total quantity of components (c) and (d) is at least 5% by weight, based on the weight of component (b).
