    摘要: Single-component compositions are disclosed, which can be cured in two stages, wherein in the first curing stage, compositions pre-cured by means of moisture and having in particular plastic properties are formed, and wherein in the second curing stage, compositions cured by means of heat and having in particular elastic properties are formed. The two-stage compositions are suitable in particular as adhesives and have the great advantage that thanks to said two-stage compositions, an adhesive can be applied to a substrate, said adhesive cures by means of moisture in such a way that it can be handled and stored without problems, and said adhesive can be cured easily in an adhering step by means of heat only when needed.

    摘要: Methods and compositions for encapsulated polymeric gels swollen with nonaqueous reactive materials are provided. The methods include gel synthesis, swelling of a gel precursor with a first nonaqueous reactive material, and encapsulation of the swollen gel with a second nonaqueous reactive material. Gels precursors may be synthesized from crosslinking polymers, or alternatively, may be formed by crosslinking and polymerizing a monomer starting material. An accelerator may be utilized to facilitate swelling of the gel precursor with the first nonaqueous reactive material. Foams and composites may also be swollen with the first nonaqueous reactive material. The swollen gel is then contacted with a second nonaqueous reactive material such that an encapsulation layer is formed thereby. The encapsulated gels may be stored for subsequent use. The methods further include release of the first nonaqueous reactive material encapsulated within the gel under conditions which compromise the integrity of the encapsulation layer. The released first nonaqueous reactive material is then reacted with a nonaqueous reactive material, the reaction product being a useful product for a variety of applications such as coatings, adhesives, sealings, caulking, laminating materials, electrical coatings and the like.

    摘要: The object of the present invention is to provide a golf ball which is excellent in abrasion-resistance, durability and resilience and a process for preparing the same.The gist of the present invention resides in using a cover composition having a thermoplastic polyurethane and a heat reactive microcapsule encapsulating a polyisocyanate; during the molding of the cover, the polyisocyanate is contained inside the microcapsule to inhibit the crosslinking reaction between the polyisocyanate and the thermoplastic polyurethane to maintain the moldability of the cover, while, after the molding of the cover, the golf ball body is heated in order to promote a crosslinking reaction between the polyisocyanate released from the microcapsule and the thermoplastic polyurethane to improve the abrasion-resistance, durability and resilience of the resultant urethane cover.
