    摘要: There is provided a polypeptide that binds to syntaxin-1a and comprises the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 1 in the Sequence Listing, or a polypeptide having a homology of at least approximately 90% to the amino acid sequence that binds to syntaxin-1a, a partial peptide thereof, and a polynucleotide encoding any of these polypeptides or the complementary strand thereof, as well as an inhibitor, an antagonist, and an activator of physiological activity of any of the polypeptides. Further, a pharmaceutical composition that utilizes these is provided. There is also provided a method for producing the polypeptides or the peptide by genetic engineering techniques, a method for identifying the inhibitor, antagonist, or activator, and a method and a kit for diagnosing a disease with which the polypeptides are associated.

    摘要: An automatic regulating valve apparatus comprises a main valve unit, and a pilot valve unit operatively connected to the main valve unit to control the main valve unit. The main valve unit comprises a main valve casing, a main valve element disposed in the main valve casing, and a main valve driving member disposed in the main valve casing together with the main valve element and having a pressure receiving area greater than that of the main valve element, the main valve element is disposed on the upstream side of a valve seat so as to form a restricting passage between the main valve element and the main valve seat, and the main valve driving member is disposed for sliding movement in a space defined by a cylindrical wall formed in the main valve casing so as to define a main valve driving pressure chamber together with the cylindrical wall. The pilot valve unit comprises pilot valves A and B which are operated for opening and closing operations according to the variation of a pressure difference across an orifice included in the main valve unit, a pressure difference across the main valve unit, liquid level on the downstream side of the main valve unit or the pressure on the upstream side of the main valve unit. The pilot valve A and the pilot valve B are arranged in series and connected between the upstream and the downstream side of the main valve unit by connecting passages with a chamber between the pilot valves A and B connected to the main valve driving pressure chamber. The pressure in the main valve driving pressure chamber is varied by the coordinated operations of the pilot valves A and B to regulate the opening of the main valve unit. Thus, the automatic regulating valve apparatus 4 exercises automatic control functions including a constant-flow control function, an emergency shutoff function, a liquid level control function and an upstream pressure control function.

    摘要: The invention provides a self-priming centrifugal pump capable of sucking up and pumping a highly viscous liquid containing muddy substances including a large amount of bubbles, and solid foreign matters, of preventing the flow of the liquid from the side of a main pump unit into a vacuum device and from the vacuum device into the main pump unit at all stages of operation including starting, operating and stopping stages and of perfectly automatic operation, and very economical in costs of equipment and maintenance.The self-priming centrifugal pump has a main pump unit for pumping a liquid, an auxiliary pump unit for centrifugal gas-liquid separation, and an exhaust vacuum device. A region in the vicinity of a central part of an impeller included in the main pump unit is connected via a passage having a small passage area as compared with the discharge ability of the auxiliary pump unit to the suction opening of the auxiliary pump unit, the discharge opening of the auxiliary pump unit is connected to the suction opening of the main pump unit by a return passage, and a region in the vicinity of a central part of the impeller of the auxiliary pump unit is connected via an exhaust passage to the vacuum device. The exhaust passage includes in series therein a slow-acting valve which opens with a delay after the connection of a prime mover for driving the self-priming centrifugal pump to a power source, and a quick-acting valve which closes immediately after the disconnection of the prime mover from the power source.

An outlet shutoff valve (14) is disposed in the outlet passage (d) of the filter casing (1). The screen driving unit (3) is actuated after closing the outlet shutoff valve (14) to move the screen (11). When the screen (11) is moved quickly in the downstream direction, the fluid gushes from the downstream side through the screen (11) into the upstream side, and the foreign matters deposited on the screen (11) are removed from the screen (11) by the force of the gushing fluid.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an automatic constant-pressure lift valve provided with a pilot valve unit having an A valve unit and a B valve unit, and an external control force applying means that can be simply adjusted to set a predetermined valve-outlet pressure. A main valve unit is constructed so that an abnormal rise in the valve-outlet pressure can be avoided at start and stop and continuous operation of a pumping or conveying pump facility. The automatic constant-pressure lift valve has a construction capable of easily maintaining watertightness when the line is shut off. The pilot valve unit is not provided with any fixed flow restriction regulating passage, such as a needle valve. When the main valve unit, and the A valve unit and the B valve unit of the pilot valve unit are clogged, those valves open automatically for automatic cleaning. This constant-pressure lift valve has an excellent industrial effect.
