    摘要: The invention provides a receiving system and a transmitting system capable of decreasing an offset between differential signals and between quadrature signals and improving a manufacturing yield and a semiconductor integrated circuit device for processing a wireless communication signal having therein the systems. A receiving system includes: a local oscillator for generating an oscillation signal in a desired frequency; a 90-degree phase-shifting circuit for generating a signal by shifting a phase of the oscillation signal output from the local oscillator by 90 degrees; a first mixer for mixing one of differential reception signals with an output signal of the first 90-degree phase-shifting circuit and outputting frequency-converted differential signals; and a second mixer for mixing another one of the differential reception signals with an output signal of the local oscillator and outputting frequency-converted differential signals.

    摘要: There is described a multi-layer printed circuit board and a method of installing it. The circuit board includes a first signal layer formed on its obverse surface; a ground layer arranged at a position next to the first signal layer; an electronic power source layer arranged at a position next to the ground layer; and a second signal layer formed on its reverse surface. The first and second patterns are formed around peripheral areas of the first and second signal layers, respectively. The first ground pattern and the second ground pattern are electrically coupled to each other by plural through holes, and the multi-layer printed circuit board is installed on an electro-conductive housing in such a manner that a substantially whole area of the second ground pattern electrically contacts a mounting area of the electro-conductive housing, the mounting area being an electro-conductive area continuously coupled to the electro-conductive housing.

    摘要: A multimode wireless terminal suitable for received level monitoring for a base station serving as an intersystem handover destination includes a first wireless transmitter-receiver unit for GSM, a second wireless transmitter-receiver unit for WCDMA, and a communication processor unit and an antenna switch unit connected to these wireless transmitter-receiver units. While conducting communication with a WCDMA network system via the second wireless transmitter-receiver unit, a level of a signal received from a GSM base station is monitored via the first wireless transmitter-receiver unit. A communication processor unit determines whether the level monitoring is interfered with by a WCDMA transmission signal, on the basis of a relation between a WCDMA transmission frequency and a reception frequency supplied from the GSM base station. If interference occurs, then the communication processor unit changes circuit characteristics of the first or second wireless transmitter-receiver unit, and thereby suppresses the interference.

The auxiliary board may be provided with marks for facilitating alignment, holes to provide access to the main board, a dummy pattern for preventing tears of the flexible auxiliary board, and a second dummy pattern to prevent warping from uneven stresses applied to the flexible auxiliary board by differences in thermal expansion of the auxiliary board and the pattern printed thereon. A method of making the board is also disclosed and claimed.
