摘要: Recombinant DNA constructs comprise plastidic carbonic anhydrase coding sequences operably linked to polynucleotides encoding DGAT or transcription factors such as ODP1. These constructs can be used to increase oil content in plants and seeds to levels that are not achieved with DGAT alone.Methods of generating plants containing the constructs and for increasing oil content in the seeds of an oilseed plant are also disclosed.

摘要: Methods for producing in a plant a complex transgenic trait locus comprising at least two altered target sequences in a genomic region of interest are disclosed. The methods involve the use of two or more double-strand-break-inducing agents, each of which can cause a double-strand break in a target sequence in the genomic region of interest which results in an alteration in the target sequence. Also disclosed are complex transgenic trait loci in plants. A complex transgenic trait locus comprises at least two altered target sequences that are genetically linked to a polynucleotide of interest. Plants, plant cells, plant parts, and seeds comprising one or more complex transgenic trait loci are also disclosed.

摘要: The present disclosure relates to a method for removing a hard mask consisting essentially of TiN, TaN, TiNxOy, TiW, W, Ti and alloys of Ti and W from a semiconductor substrate. The method comprising contacting the semiconductor substrate with a removal composition. The removal composition comprises 0.1 wt % to 90 wt % of an oxidizing agent; 0.0001 wt % to 50 wt % of a carboxylate; and the balance up to 100 wt % of the removal composition comprising deionized water.

摘要: Methods and compositions are provided which employ a silencing element that, when ingested by a plant insect pest, such as Coleopteran, Hemiptera, or Lepidopteran plant pest, including a Diabrotica, Leptinotarsa, Phyllotreta, Acyrthosiphan, Bemisia, Halyomorpha, Nezara, or Spodoptera plant pest, decrease the expression of a target sequence in the pest. Disclosed are various target polynucleotides set forth in any one of SEQ ID NOS: 1-53 or 107-254 disclosed herein, or variants and fragments thereof, or complements thereof, wherein a decrease in expression of one or more of the sequences in the target pest controls the pest and pest population by insect sterilization (i.e., male and female sterility, reduction of sperm count, egg production and viability) and mating-based sterile insect technique (SIT). Plants, plant parts, bacteria and other host cells comprising the silencing elements or an active variant or fragment thereof of the invention are also provided. This abstract is intended as a scanning tool for purposes of searching in the particular art and is not intended to be limiting of the present invention.

摘要: A method is disclosed for hydrolyzing an alpha-1,3 or alpha-1,6 glucosyl-glucose linkage in a saccharide (disaccharide or oligosaccharide). This method comprises contacting the saccharide with an alpha-glucosidase enzyme such as transglucosidase under suitable conditions, during which contacting step the enzyme hydrolyzes at least one alpha-1,3 or alpha-1,6 glucosyl-glucose linkage of the saccharide. This method is useful for reducing the amount of oligosaccharides in a filtrate isolated from a glucan synthesis reaction, for example.

摘要: A method of making a fiber-reinforced composite structure comprises the steps of (i) forming a paper sheet having a Gurley air resistance at least 200 seconds per 100 milliliters, the sheet comprising from 30 to 70 weight percent p-aramid fiber, (ii) depositing on both surfaces of the paper sheet a compression enhancing layer in a quantity up to 5 weight percent based on the weight of the paper, (iii) forming a honeycomb from the sheet of step (ii), and (iv) applying a matrix resin coating to the honeycomb of step (iii).
