摘要: First and second coaters, first and second edge determiners, and first and second moving mechanisms are provided. The first and second coaters apply a coating solution for forming a heat-resistant protection layer onto both surfaces of a substrate on each of which an active material layer is previously formed. The first and second edge determiners determine the locations of lateral edges of the active material layers formed on both surfaces of the substrate to be coated by the respective first and second coaters. The first and second moving mechanisms move the location of the substrate along the width thereof based on the locations of the lateral edges determined by the first and second edge determiners, respectively. The locations of regions of both surfaces of the substrate to be coated are separately adjusted.

摘要: The invention relates to a method for applying paints or varnishes with the aid of an application device in order to apply a color design on surfaces of buildings or public or civil engineering works in accordance with a previously executed implementation of a digital image model in a previously recorded digital surface object that represents the surface of the object. According to the invention, the application device moves on the surface of the object while contacting the surface thereof, the position of the application device is continuously measured or calculated using motion sensors and paint is applied in accordance with said implementation depending on the position thus determined. Application of paint by the application device is automatically stopped if the position of the application device with respect to a predefined position error acceptance threshold cannot be determined in a sufficiently accurate manner or if the corresponding paint or varnish has been fully applied in the position of the paint applying elements.

摘要: A method of coating by supplying a liquid material from a nozzle tip to form a film on a substrate surface facing to the nozzle, having the steps of: preparing a translation mechanism, which is capable of moving the nozzle in an in-plane direction and in a thickness direction of the substrate; making the nozzle to come gradually closer to the substrate, after positioning of the nozzle on the in-plane of the substrate, by using the translation mechanism; detecting electric current flowing through the nozzle from the substrate surface, when a semiconductor droplet supplied from the nozzle tip contacts with an electrode installed at the substrate surface; stopping accession of the nozzle to the substrate, when the electric current exceeds threshold value set in advance; and making the nozzle tip apart from the substrate farther than in the stopping, so as to coat the substrate with the liquid material.

摘要: Disclosed is a sealant dispenser for more precisely dispensing a sealant onto a substrate, and a control method thereof. The sealant dispenser includes a stage on which a substrate is mounted; a nozzle for dispensing a sealant while making a relative motion with the substrate; a syringe coupled to the nozzle, for storing the sealant; and a distance sensor installed on both sides of a lower portion of the syringe, for measuring a vertical distance between a principal plane of the substrate and an outlet of the nozzle. According to the principles of the present invention, because the nozzle and the syringe have substantially the same central axis, the response speed of the sealant to be dispensed is increased and the start point and the end point of paste pattern are more precisely dispensed. Also, by minimizing the distance between the nozzle and a measuring point provided by the distance sensor, it becomes possible to dispense the sealant at higher precision.

摘要: A system for dispensing a viscous material onto a substrate which includes a dispensing element, a viscous material reservoir and a metering device coupled between the reservoir and the dispensing element for metering a variable amount of a viscous material through the dispensing element. The dispensing element and metering device can be moved by a positioner along a predetermined pattern adjacent a surface of a substrate. A weigh scale located adjacent the substrate receives a metered amount of the viscous material and produces signals representative of a variable weight of the material dispensed during a predetermined time interval. A controller adjusts a speed of movement of the positioner along the predetermined pattern to cause the dispensing element to dispense a desired amount of material based on a calculated flow rate. Alternatively, the controller adjusts a rate of delivery of the metering device based on the calculated flow rate to cause the dispensing element to dispense the desired amount of material along the predetermined pattern. Closed loop temperature control may be provided for the dispensing element and/or the substrate to ensure a substantially constant viscosity and a substantially constant flow rate. A prime and purge station may be provided adjacent the substrate for sucking air bubbles from the dispensing element and metering device.
