    摘要: Disclosed is a thermoplastic elastomer composition containing 10-60 parts by weight of a non-crosslinkable crystalline polyolefin resin (A), 1-30 parts by weight of a specific propylene 1-butene random copolymer (B) and 89-10 parts by weight of an ethylene α-olefin non-conjugated polyene copolymer rubber (C) which is composed of ethylene, an α-olefin having 3-20 carbon atoms and a non-conjugated polyene, in such amounts that the total of the components (A), (B) and (C) is 100 parts by weight. The thermoplastic elastomer composition is dynamically crosslinked by an extruder. This thermoplastic elastomer is excellent in moldability and economic efficiency, and enables to obtain a molded body exhibiting sufficient adhesion strength to a vulcanized rubber or thermoplastic elastomer without the intermediation of an adhesive layer, as well as a lightweight molded body having sufficient hardness and rubber elasticity.

    摘要: Disclosed is a process for producing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer excellent in balancing between strength and elongation by continuous multi-step polymerization. The process comprises continuously polymerizing ethylene and α-olefin in a solvent in the presence of an olefin polymerization catalyst using a polymerization reaction apparatus comprising two or more tanks of polymerization reactors connected in series, said process including a first polymerization step of producing in one tank of polymerization reactor a polymer component under the polymerization condition of a flow state being 1.5 or more tanks in the perfect mixing cell model, and a second polymerization step of producing in one tank of polymerization reactor a polymer component under specific polymerization conditions.

    摘要: The invention provides a process of polymerizing ethylene and at least one α-olefin, said process comprises polymerizing the ethylene and the at least one α-olefin in the presence of 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene, which comprises low levels of impurities, as determined by the absorbances at the following wavelengths: 320 nm and 343 nm. The invention also provides a method of increasing the catalysts efficiency, and a method of determining the expected catalyst efficiency, each in a polymerization of ethylene and at least one α-olefin in the presence of the 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene, which comprises low levels of impurities, as determined by the absorbances at the above wavelengths. The invention further provides a method of purifying 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene to form a purified 5-ethylidene-2-norbornene, which comprises low levels of impurities, as determined by the absorbances of the above wavelengths.
