    摘要: Disclosed are mixtures containing: mono- and bi-functional polymers [polymers (P-A) and (P-B)] comprising a plurality of (per)fluoropolyether segments [segments (SRF)] joined together by hydrogenated (poly)ether segments [segments (SH)], said polymers having two ends, wherein one or both ends comprises a hydroxy or a leaving group; a non-functional polymer comprising a plurality of (per)fluoropolyether segments (S) joined together by hydrogenated (poly)ether segments (SB), with the proviso that the hydrogenated (poly)ether segments (SRF) are not segments of formula —CH2OCH2OCH2—. Disclosed are also monofunctional polymers (P-A) that can be isolated from such mixtures. Methods for the obtainment of the mixtures and for separating the polymers therein contained are also provided, as well as methods of using the mixtures or each polymer therein contained as intermediates or building blocks for the synthesis of other polymers or as ingredients of compositions.

    摘要: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for efficiently and highly selectively preparing a composition comprising a perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal at a higher ratio. The present invention provides a method for increasing a ratio of a perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal, relative to a total amount of the perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal and a perfluoropolyether having carboxyl groups at both terminals in a composition comprising these perfluoropolyethers, wherein the method comprises a step of subjecting the composition to chromatography in which a moving phase is supercritical or subcritical state carbon dioxide of the specific temperature and the specific pressure, and a stationary phase is silica gel to thereby collect a fraction containing the perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal at a higher ratio. Further, present invention provides for increasing a ratio of a perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal, relative to a total amount of the perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal, a perfluoropolyether having carboxyl groups at both terminals and a perfluoropolyether having no carboxyl group at any terminal perfluoropolyether, in a composition comprising these perfluoropolyethers, wherein the method comprises a step of subjecting the composition to chromatography in which a moving phase is supercritical or subcritical state carbon dioxide of the specific temperature and the specific pressure, and a stationary phase is silica gel to thereby collect a fraction containing the perfluoropolyether having a carboxyl group at one terminal at a higher ratio.

    摘要: Direct fiuorination of organics such as 1,8-dichlorooctane in tubular reactor. Inert liquid containing organic feed is circulated through tubular reactor with fluorine gas for a time and at a temperature sufficient to yield fluorinated organic. Preferably, liquid and gas phases are separated from reactor product stream containing inert liquid, fluorinated organic, and any unreacted organic is recycled to turbulent mixing zone upstream of reactor in which fresh organic feed is added; and fluorine is added to recycle stream at end of mixing zone. Flow in tubular reactor is turbulent. Rate of organic feed and fluorine addition to process are independent of each other. Among process advantages are: Freon solvents not required; good control of reaction exotherm; and HF scavengers not required. Process useful for partial or complete fluorination.
