    Abstract: A vehicle brake device includes a stroke simulator, a stroke sensor, and a brake start determination unit. The stroke simulator includes a cylinder, a piston, an orifice, and a pressure sensor. The cylinder defines a liquid pressure chamber to which a brake liquid is supplied via a fluid path. The piston slides in the cylinder by the brake liquid supplied to the liquid pressure chamber. The orifice is formed in the fluid path. The pressure sensor detects a reaction pressure. The stroke sensor is configured to detect the stroke. The brake start determination unit determines an operation of the brake operation member has been started in a case where the reaction pressure detected by the pressure sensor becomes equal to or greater than a first threshold value and the stroke detected by the stroke sensor becomes equal to or greater than a second threshold value.

    Abstract: A current command value deriving unit of a motor control device derives a d-axis current command value and a q-axis current command value based on a torque current map and a torque command value. A voltage command value deriving unit executes a first process of deriving a d-axis voltage command value based on the d-axis current command value and deriving a q-axis voltage command value based on q-axis current command value, and a second process of deriving the d-axis voltage command value based on the q-axis current command value and deriving the q-axis voltage command value based on a limit voltage and the d-axis voltage command value. When a motor is driven by field-weakening control, the voltage command value deriving unit switches from the second process to the first process when it is determined that the voltage command value satisfying the torque command value is derivable by the first process.

    Abstract: In a brake fluid pressure control apparatus, a sensing device is integrally fixed to a master piston. The sensing device including the body to be sensed, which may include a magnet, and a sensing body, which may include a sensor. The sensing bodying sensing an axial position of the master piston without relative movement, that is, without providing play. This arrangement improves the sensing precision of the sensing device. Since it is not necessary to provide a member separate from the master piston in order to retain the body to be sensed, it is possible to achieve downsizing of the brake fluid pressure control apparatus.

    Abstract: A brake control device applied to a vehicle including a regenerative generator connected to a front wheel has an electric pump, and first and second pressure adjustment valves. The first pressure adjustment valve is provided in a brake fluid reflux path including the electric pump, adjusts the brake fluid to a first hydraulic pressure, and adjusts a rear wheel hydraulic pressure in a rear wheel cylinder to the first hydraulic pressure. The second pressure adjustment valve is provided in the reflux path, reduces the first hydraulic pressure to a second hydraulic pressure, and adjusts front wheel hydraulic pressure in a front wheel cylinder to the second hydraulic pressure. A front wheel flow rate to increase the front wheel hydraulic pressure is calculated using a brake operation member operation amount and a regeneration amount of the regenerative generator. The first pressure adjustment valve is controlled using the front wheel flow rate.

    Abstract: A braking control device executes pre-stop braking control to adjust a braking force when a vehicle stops. The pre-stop braking control includes reduction control that reduces the braking force, and increase control that is executed before the reduction control is started, to increase the braking force. An increasing unit executes the increase control, and a reducing unit executes the reduction control. A calculation unit calculates a braking distance extended by the reduction control, as an extended distance, and calculates a braking distance shortened by the increase control, as a shortened distance. The calculation unit calculates the extended distance to become longer when an operation amount of a braking operation member operated by a driver is reduced during braking than when the operation amount is not reduced. When a difference between the extended distance and the shortened distance is less than a determination value, the reducing unit starts the reduction control.
