    Abstract: A viscous liquid feed nozzle has a nozzle body having a thin and long hole with a front end serving as a feed port. The nozzle is used with a viscous liquid feed unit to feed a viscous liquid such as a viscous adhesive from the feed port. The nozzle has a lubricative plated layer at least on the inside and outside of the feed port. The lubricative plated layer is formed by electroless plating by immersing the nozzle in a plating tank containing a lubricative plating solution. A base end of the nozzle body may have a wide port. In this case, the lubricative plated layer is formed by immersing the nozzle body in the plating tank containing the lubricative plating solution so that the lubricative plating solution enters the wide port and by applying pressure or gravity to the lubricative plating solution in the wide port to pass the lubricative plating solution through the thin and long hole of the nozzle body and discharge the same from the feed port. The viscous liquid feed nozzle with the lubricative plated layer is capable of stably feeding a very small quantity of a viscous liquid.

    Abstract: A coiling machine includes a material guide, first pin, second pin, pitch tool, cutting tool, heating device, temperature sensor, and controller. A material is bent between the first pin and the second pin to form an arc part between the first pin and the second pin. The controller select control data corresponding to the temperature of the material from a plurality of control data corresponding to a processing temperature. Then, the positions of the first pin and the second pin are controlled such that a radius of curvature of the arc part increases when the temperature of the material increases, and the position of the cutting tool is controlled such that a gap between the center of curvature of the arc part and the cutting tool increases.

    Abstract: A needle attachment and detachment assist device includes a frame body, a syringe guide jig, and a needle guide jig. A guide hole is formed in the syringe guide jig. In the needle guide jig, a needle insertion hole is formed on a central axis of the guide hole. The needle insertion hole includes a center hole portion and a rib guide groove. When a syringe is inserted into the guide hole, and a needle member is further inserted into the needle insertion hole, rotation prevention of the needle member is achieved. In this state, when the syringe is rotated in a first direction, the needle member can be clamped to a thread portion of the syringe. When the syringe is rotated in a second direction, the needle member can be loosened.

    Abstract: A flexure mounted on a load beam of a disk drive suspension, including a metal base formed of a stainless-steel plate; and a conductive circuit arranged along the metal base. The conductive circuit includes an insulating layer on the metal base; and a conductor on the insulating layer. The conductor includes a thin conductor portion formed in a first region (A1) which is part of the conductive circuit in a longitudinal direction; and a thick conductor portion formed in a second region (A2) which is another part of the conductive circuit in the longitudinal direction, the thick conductor portion being thicker than the thin conductor portion. The flexure includes a flexure tail portion having an opening formed in the metal base; a bent portion of the metal base which is bent in a thickness direction at the opening; and a trace curved portion curved in the thickness direction at a position facing the opening. The trace curved portion includes the thick conductor portion.
