摘要: The invention provides dispersoids having metal-oxygen groups which are suitable for the production of metal oxide thin-films at a low temperature of 200° C. or below and for the production of homogeneous organic-inorganic hybrid materials. The invention also provides metal oxide thin-films and organic-inorganic hybrid materials endowed with various capabilities, particularly organic-inorganic hybrid materials having a high refractive index and high transparency. Use is made of a dispersoid having metal-oxygen bonds which is obtained by mixing a metal compound having at least three hydrolyzable groups with at least 0.5 mole but less than 2 moles of water per mole of the metal compound in an organic solvent, in the absence of an acid, a base and/or a dispersion stabilizer, and at a temperature at or below the temperature at which the metal compound begins to hydrolyze, then raising the temperature to at least the temperature at which hydrolysis begins.

摘要: In a die plate having a hardened surface for sliding a knife, a plurality of WC alloy plates 1b are diffusion-bonded to a base metal 2b, whereby the hardened surface h is formed. A plurality of nozzle holes 4a, 4a . . . are formed on each of the WC alloy plates 1b. Each of the WC alloy plates 1b is formed into a shape having a thickness of 2.5 mm or more and two adjacent edges 20 mm or more in length, wherein each edge is 200 mm or less in length. The die plate has high freedom in an arrangement of nozzle holes to enable a close arrangement of a number of nozzle holes, has an extended life with hardly causing dropping-off of a member constituting a hardened surface, and can be produced with a minimized number of processes.

摘要: An ultrasonic flaw detector device including axial and circumferential fixed tracks located in a space defined between a pressure vessel of a nuclear reactor and a heat insulating wall surrounding the vessel and arranged axially and circumferentially respectively of the pressure vessel of the nuclear reactor. A rotary track is located at a junction of the axial fixed track and the circumferential fixed track and moved in rotary movement by a chain and has its angle of rotation restricted by a pair of stoppers. A carrier member supporting an ultrasonic probe is moved on the tracks to effect ultrasonic flaw detection to detect any flow that might be present in the pressure vessel. To transfer the carrier member from the axial fixed track to the circumferential fixed track, the carrier member is first transferred from the axial fixed track to the rotatable track, and after the rotary track is rotated, the carrier member is transferred from the rotatable track to the circumferential fixed track.

摘要: An annular guide rail is detachably mounted in enclosing relation around a tubular member of piping to be probed for any flaws that might be present therein, and a flaw detecting unit, a circumferentially driving unit and an axially driving unit are movably arranged on the annular guide rail and interconnected by connecting means. The flaw detecting means includes an arm movable axially of the tubular member and supporting ultrasonic flaw detecting means. The circumferentially driving unit includes first driving means for moving the flaw detecting unit, circumferentially driving unit and axially driving unit circumferentially along the guide rail. The axially driving unit includes second driving means for moving the arm axially of the tubular member. A transmission mechanism is provided for transmitting the operation of the second driving means to the arm.

摘要: An exhaust system includes: an exhaust pressure controller interposed in an exhaust passage and including: a pipe body including a side peripheral wall in which at least one port is formed; and a gas introduction wall for introducing an exhaust gas flowing from an upstream side of the pipe body so that the exhaust gas flows downstream without coming into direct contact with the port and vicinity thereof, one face of the gas introduction wall forming a pressure control path together with an inner face of the side peripheral wall while another face of the gas introduction wall forming an exhaust gas path along which the exhaust gas flows. The port communicates with the pressure control path, and the pressure control path communicates with the exhaust gas path at part downstream of the port.
