A method in which a first terminal supports direct communication using infracommunication includes setting at least one direct communication link with at least one second terminal, setting at least one traffic connection with a base station, and forwarding data that is transmitted through the at least one direct communication link from the at least one second terminal to the at least one traffic connection or forwarding data that is transmitted through the at least one traffic connection from the base station to the at least one direct communication link.
Abstract:
Disclosed are an active delay method and an improved wireless binaural hearing device. The binaural hearing device includes: a first hearing device including a first microphone, an amplifier and a wireless transmitter; and a second hearing device including a second microphone, an amplifier, a wireless transmitter, a wireless receiver which receives a signal from the wireless transmitter, an active delay circuit which synchronizes the received signal with a signal acquired by the second microphone, a neural network which synchronizes the delayed signal, and a speaker which converts the synchronized signal into a voice signal. With this configuration, it is possible to prevent incorrect detection of the position of the sound source or paralalia due to a time delay which is produced in the wireless binaural hearing device and reduce noises due to a time difference between both hearing devices, thereby providing a binaural hearing device with high quality.
Abstract:
An apparatus and a method for translating, transcribing, and/or converting a printed label on a surface of an RFID tag into electronic data, which are writable to a non-volatile storage inside the RFID tag, are disclosed. In one example, the apparatus comprises an image reader for scanning a printed label on the surface of an RFID tag, a UHF antenna module, a UHF tag access module for reading from or writing into the RFID tag, and a computer interface to display various parameters and control the apparatus. A tag-holding plate containing batches of RFID tags can be brought to an access range of the image reader using a conveyor belt or another moving mechanism. Once positioned within the access range, the apparatus can read and translate a printed label on a RFID tag and write the converted electronic data into a non-volatile storage inside the RFID tag.
Abstract:
An apparatus is provided that includes a plurality of array dies and at least two die interconnects. The first die interconnect is in electrical communication with a data port of a first array die and a data port of a second array die and not in electrical communication with data ports of a third array die. The second die interconnect is in electrical communication with a data port of the third array die and not in electrical communication with data ports of the first array die and the second array die. The apparatus includes a control die that includes a first data conduit configured to transmit a data signal to the first die interconnect and not to the second die interconnect, and at least a second data conduit configured to transmit the data signal to the second die interconnect and not to the first die interconnect.
Abstract:
A bad page management system is provided to guarantee a yield of a volatile semiconductor memory device such as a DRAM. A bad page list exists in a DRAM. A page remapper in a memory controller performs a page remapping operation in parallel with a normal operation of a scheduling unit to perform a latency overhead hidden function. A chip size of the DRAM is reduced or minimized. A DRAM controller performs a latency overhead hidden function to control a DRAM.
Abstract:
A silica precursor having a selective adsorptivity with respect to cobalt ions is disclosed. The silica precursor includes a cross-linked 2,6-diamino pyridine group obtained by using 2,6-diamino pyridine, phosgene and 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane.
Abstract:
A process for encapsulating pigment dispersions is provided where a pigment is dispersed with a polymeric dispersant in an aqueous solvent system. The free polymer dispersant in the pigment dispersion is limited to less than 0.12 grams per gram of pigment. This dispersed pigment is then encapsulated by adding acrylate monomers and optionally acrylic and vinyl monomers and polymerizing. In the encapsulated pigment dispersion the weight ratio of final free polymer to polymer found to the final encapsulated pigment is less than 0.9. The free polymer dispersant is measured by a centrifugation method and the final free polymer is measured by a density gradient centrifugation method. Such encapsulated pigment dispersions may be used in inkjet inks and are stable to heat, aging test conditions, and solvent challenges. Prints from these inks have better durability.
Abstract:
A semiconductor device includes a cell region including memory cells that have a selection element and a data storage element, and a driving circuit region including a driving transistor configured to operate the selection element. The driving transistor includes active portions defined by a device isolation pattern in a substrate and a gate electrode running across the active portion along a first direction, the gate electrode including channel portions of a ring-shaped structure. The driving transistor further includes first impurity doped regions disposed in the active portions that are surrounded by channel portions, and second impurity doped regions disposed in the active portion that are separated from the first impurity doped regions by the channel portions.
