Abstract: An apparatus for driving a body with 3-degree of freedom angular motion, comprises: a body connected to a fixing part so as to be rotatable centering around a pitch axis, a yaw axis, and a roll axis; a pitch axis driving unit for rotating the body centering around the pitch axis; and a yaw axis driving unit for rotating the body centering around the yaw axis. Since one of the pitch axis driving unit and the yaw axis driving unit restricts the body from rotating centering around the roll axis fixed to the body, the conventional roll-rotation restricting link is not needed between the body and the fixing part. Accordingly, a size of the apparatus is reduced.

Abstract: The invented ink-jet printing method for the construction of thin film transistors using all SWNTs on flexible plastic films is a new process. This method is more practical than all of exiting printing methods in the construction TFT and RFID tags because SWNTs have superior properties of both electrical and mechanical over organic conducting oligomers and polymers which often used for TFT. Furthermore, this method can be applied on thin films such as paper and plastic films while silicon based techniques can not used on such flexible films. These are superior to the traditional conducting polymers used in printable devices since they need no dopant and they are more stable. They could be used in conjunction with conducting polymers, or as stand-alone inks.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing semiconductor fins for a semiconductor device may begin by providing a bulk semiconductor substrate. The method continues by growing a layer of first epitaxial semiconductor material on the bulk semiconductor substrate, and by growing a layer of second epitaxial semiconductor material on the layer of first epitaxial semiconductor material. The method then creates a fin pattern mask on the layer of second epitaxial semiconductor material. The fin pattern mask has features corresponding to a plurality of fins. Next, the method anisotropically etches the layer of second epitaxial semiconductor material, using the fin pattern mask as an etch mask, and using the layer of first epitaxial semiconductor material as an etch stop layer. This etching step results in a plurality of fins formed from the layer of second epitaxial semiconductor material.
