Abstract:
Individual components are separated with a high concentration and accurately, from a sample containing components-to-be-separated. The separation apparatus includes a channel through which a sample containing components-to-be-separated moves; and gateway portions partitioning the separation channel into a plurality of compartments. The separation apparatus further includes an external force imposing unit, which imposes external force to the components-to-be-separated so as to allow them to move through the channel. The external force imposing unit is configured so as to alternately repeatedly execute a first external force imposing pattern by which the external force is imposed in the forward direction of the channel, and a second external force imposing pattern by which the external force is imposed in the direction opposite to the forward direction along the channel. This makes it possible to fractionate the components-to-be-separated into any of the compartments.
Abstract:
A small-sized superimposed circuit module has reduced spurious electromagnetic wave emission and small variations in circuit parameters. A resonance circuit portion of an oscillator and a portion of a noise rejection filter are embedded in a multilayer ceramic substrate, and the remaining circuit components are mounted on the surface of the multilayer substrate. The upper surface of the multilayer substrate is covered with a metal case.
Abstract:
An end cover and a coupler, which construct a load-absorbing mechanism, make sliding displacement in a state of relative surface-to-surface contact respectively. Thus, the load, which is exerted in the horizontal and vertical directions, in the rotational direction about the axis, in the rotational direction about the perpendicular to the axis, and in various directions given by combining these directions in a complex manner, is absorbed.
Abstract:
A plurality of capacitor elements defined by first and second capacitor electrodes are formed in the interior of a laminated ceramic block, while a plurality of first terminal electrodes to be electrically connected to the first capacitor electrodes and a ground terminal electrode to be connected to the second capacitor electrodes in common are formed on one side surface of the block. A plurality of resistor films are formed on a major surface of the block, to be connected to the first terminal electrodes. A plurality of second terminal electrodes are formed on another side surface of the block, to be electrically connected to the resistor films. Another ground terminal electrode is formed on this side surface, to be connected to the second capacitor electrodes in common. Thus, an RC array being applicable to a high frequency filter array is integrated and miniaturized to cope with high density packaging, as well as to enable surface mounting.

Abstract:
An acoustic image localization apparatus according to the present invention that outputs sound from a plurality of speakers so as to localize an acoustic image at a predetermined position on a space as viewed from a listener, the acoustic image localization apparatus comprising: amplitude characteristic adjusting means for adjusting an amplitude frequency characteristic of an inputted acoustic signal such that the acoustic image is localized at a position rotated by a first angle about a position of a listener toward an upper direction from a facing position of the listener; and a plurality of level adjusting means, provided so as to respectively correspond to the plurality of speakers, for adjusting a level of the acoustic signal outputted from the amplitude characteristic adjusting means and for outputting, to a corresponding speaker, the acoustic signal whose level has been adjusted, wherein each of the level adjusting means adjusts the level of the acoustic signal, which is outputted from the amplitude characteristic adjusting means, to a level of the corresponding speaker such that the acoustic image is localized at the predetermined position rotated by a second angle about the position of the listener toward one of directions orthogonal to the rotated directions from the position rotated by the first angle.
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide a sound image localization apparatus which can localize a sound image with ease correctly for many listeners.Herein disclosed is a sound image localization apparatus, in which a directional band information storage unit 11 is adapted to store therein directional bands in advance calculated for respective directions, a control filter computing unit 12 is adapted to read a directional band corresponding to a target position information from a directional band information storage unit 11 upon receiving target position information, calculate a control filter coefficient in such a manner that the maximum value of a sensation level for which masking is taken into consideration is matched with the directional band thus read, output the control filter coefficient to a sound image localization processing unit 13. Upon receiving the control filter coefficient from the control filter computing unit 12, the sound image localization processing unit 13 is adapted to convolve the control filter coefficient thus received to an inputted sound source signal, carry out sound image localization processing on the sound source signal, and output a sound signal whose sound image has been localized as a sound image localization signal to a sound reproducing device, not shown, such as, for example, headphones, a speaker, and/or the like.
Abstract:
An electric actuator comprises a rotary driving source, a timing belt which is circled or orbited under the driving action of the rotary driving source, a slider which is displaced by the timing belt in the axial direction, and a belt-adjusting mechanism which is connected to a side surface of the slider. Both ends of the timing belt are connected to the belt-adjusting mechanism respectively. The tension of the timing belt is adjusted by rotating an adjusting screw of the belt-adjusting mechanism.
Abstract:
The present invention provides an analysis chip allowing customization in accordance with the items required for a given test, and method for producing the same. On a chip (313) there are formed dispensing channels (222) connected to respective detection reservoirs (223) and branching off from a main channel (221). Each branch channel (222) is provided with a flow control unit (314) responsible for an opening and closing of the channel. It is possible to achieve multiple analysis steps by appropriately setting an opening and closing of flow control units provided to an analysis portion.
