    摘要： A medical instrument used by being introduced into a body and fixed thereto, includes a camera body provided with a fixing section to be fixed to a body wall in the body, an image pickup section incorporated in the camera body that picks up an image of an object to be examined in the body from an observation window formed in the camera body, a contamination removing section provided by being fixed to the camera body, a transparent cover member, an outer surface of which is in contact with the contamination removing section, movably disposed on the observation window and a drive section incorporated in the camera body that drives the cover member to make a sliding contact with the contamination removing section, and can thereby easily and reliably remove deposits stuck to the observation window and obtain a clear observation image even when deposits are being removed.

The treatment apparatus includes a pallet on which a cylinder block is placed with a gasket surface faced upward. A top opening of a cylinder barrel of the cylinder block is covered by a cover member having a concave portion communicating with the top opening. A nozzle having treatment solution spray holes is attached to the cover member. The treatment solution is sprayed toward a wall of the concave portion from the treatment solution spray holes and flows along the wall from a top end to a bottom end of the cylinder barrel inside surface.

    摘要： A magnetostrictive torque sensor comprising a first magnetostrictive film, a second magnetostrictive film, and a third magnetostrictive film formed over the entire circumferential periphery of a surface of a rotating shaft. A first sensor coil, a second sensor coil, and a third sensor coil for sensing changes in impedance are provided for the first, second, and third magnetostrictive films, respectively. Signals according to the changes in impedance outputted from the first through third sensor coils are inputted to a torque calculating unit. The torque calculating unit calculates the torque applied to the rotating shaft on the basis of the output signal from the first sensor coil and the output signal from the second sensor coil. Furthermore, the output signals from the first through third sensor coils are compared, and failures in the first magnetostrictive film or the second magnetostrictive film are detected by a failure detector.

    摘要： Disclosed is a novel electric joining method and apparatus that can overcome the defects associated with the prior art while taking advantage of the technology for the pulse excited sintering process such as spark plasma sintering process or the hot-press joining process. According to the present invention, an electric joining apparatus for joining a plurality of members to be joined at the joining surfaces thereof, comprises: a pair of current-currying electrodes 13, 16 capable of contacting with the members so as to apply electricity to the members; a power supply 17 connected to the pair of energizing electrodes for supplying the energizing electrodes with at least either one of a DC current or a pulsated current; and a pressurizing unit 14 for compressing each of the pair of electrodes against the joining surfaces, wherein the pair of members are sandwiched between the energizing electrodes and applied with at least either one of the DC current or the pulsated current from the power supply under a desired pressure, thus to be joined, without using a die made of graphite.
