    摘要: A rotary operating-type electronic device used mainly in a peripheral apparatus such as a mouse for computers, portable telephones, an electronic device mounted on an automobile, and the like, in which a rotary type component and a linearly-driven type component are operated by a rotating manipulation of an operating knob attached to an operating axle and a tilting manipulation of the same knob in a direction orthogonal to an axis of the operating axle. The device is so constructed that the operating axle is supported to be rotatable together with a rotary encoder unit and also tiltable, by fitting an end of the operating axle in an axle-supporting portion having a non-circular center hole of a rotor of the rotary encoder. An operating knob of either a discal shape or a polygonal shape having a predetermined width is attached to an intermediate portion of the operating axle that protrudes from the rotor, and a push switch is disposed in a position to be in contact with another end of the operating axle.

    摘要: A rotary type electronic component includes (a) a bearing formed of a cylindrical section and a substrate on which the cylindrical section is situated, (b) a rotary shaft formed of an upper section protruding from the bearing, a mid section journaled by the bearing, and a lower section having a flange with a hole which communicates with a recess formed axially in the shaft, (c) a case coupled with a lower face of the substrate so that the case covers the lower section of the shaft, and on its bottom plate having fixed contacts corresponding to movable contacts, (d) a spring housed in the recess of the shaft and biasing from inner section of the recess toward the bottom plate of the case, and (e) a frictional plate having a hole in the axial direction, engaging with a rim of recess opening, being urged by the spring against the bottom plate of the case, following the rotation of the shaft and yet moving axially and independently of the shaft. This construction allows the downsized component to keep required high torque with smooth tactile feel as well as a long service-life.

    摘要: The present invention relates to an electronic illumination apparatus which may be used in audio equipment. The electronic illumination apparatus allows recognition of the position of rotational operation of a knob by the light from a built-in light emitting diode. The object of the present invention is to provide an illumination type electronic part of rotational operation which is readily adaptable to changes in specifications for the rotational operation shaft. The disclosed apparatus also is able to withstand a strong thrust force applied to the rotational operation shaft, to reduce the hitting sound emitted from the rotatable stopper of the rotational operation shaft, and also to light up the illumination means disposed on the end of the rotational operation shaft in a stable manner. In order to achieve the foregoing object, the rotational operation shaft is made in a simple hollowed cylindrical shape, and the rotor having a stopper for restricting the extent of its rotational motion is prepared separately from the rotational operation shaft, preferably by resin molding. More preferably, the rotor is made of a transparent resin and integrally molded together with the light collecting lens for the light emitting apparatus.

    摘要: An extended storage is temporarily used for the dedicated use by a batch process to eliminate the contention of resources between an online process and the batch process and attain a high speed batch process while the online process is executed without affecting the online process. The online process is executed by inputting data from a file to a main storage, and the batch process updates the data on the extended storage in parallel with the online process. Since the accessing device for the online process and the batch process are different, there is no contention of resources. When the batch process is completed, the updated data is reloaded from the extended storage to the file. During the reloading of the updated data, the online process inputs the data from the extended storage. The extended storage is shared by the reloading of the updated data and the online process, but the contention of resources does not occur because both are input processes and the extended storage is a storage device which does not includes a mechanical movement unlike a magnetic disk drive.
