摘要： An upper sealing ring and a lower sealing ring are adhered by sealing solder. The width of tip end of sealing projection is narrower than the width of the lower sealing ring. Therefore, the sealing solder is placed on lower sealing ring and on the side surface of upper sealing ring. Further, an upper connection pad and a lower connection pad are adhered by connecting solder. The width of a tip end of a connection projection is narrower than the width of lower connection pad. Therefore, the connecting solder is placed on the lower connection pad and on the side surface of upper connection pad. Thus, a package is provided, which attains satisfactory electrical connection and hermetic seal after solder joint of the upper and lower substrates.

摘要： A nozzle ejects molten metal in an ejecting direction. The nozzle has a solder-philic surface in a first region and a solder-repellent surface in a second region. The second region is located forward of the first region in the ejecting direction. Before molten metal is ejected, the peripheral edge of the liquid surface of the molten metal is held at a position located further forward in the ejecting direction than the boundary between the solder-philic surface and the solder-repellent surface. The peripheral edge of the liquid surface is thus held before being ejected so that solder drops can be ejected steadily with a uniform diameter, constant direction, and constant speed.

The cam mechanism provided between each punch of the first group and the driving means moves each punch 52 by the motion operation of the driving means in a first direction, and the cam mechanism provided between each punch of the second group and the driving means moves each punch 53 by the motion operation of the driving means in a second direction. Different pattern of punching is respectively possible by the first and second groups of punches.

摘要： A sheet carrying apparatus reduces skew of a sheet during carriage, and realizes high-quality print. A position detecting sensor detects a position in a direction perpendicular to a sheet carrying direction of the sheet carried by a sheet carrying roller. A skew angle of the sheet is calculated depending upon a deviation of the detected position from a predetermined reference position. Load rollers are on the right and left sides with respect to a sheet center line in the sheet carrying direction, and are respectively opposed to following rollers through the sheet so as to bring the sheet into pressure contact. A torque limiter to apply a braking force to the load roller, and the load roller are coupled or released by electromagnetic clutches. Thereby, the carrying forces can independently be controlled on the right and left sides of the sheet depending upon the skew angle.
