摘要: In a disc drive device (10) described as a specific embodiment of the present invention, AC0 to AC14 of ADIP cluster address are associated with address bits AU6 to AU20 of an address unit. On the basis of 8-bit sector address on the lower side of cluster address arranged in ADIP address of a conventional MD, 0/1 representing sector address FC to 0D of a former-half cluster and sector address 0E to 1F of a latter-half cluster of a sector of a next-generation MD(1) is associated with address bit AU5 of the address unit. To a part (110) of 4 address bits AU4 to AU1 below this, 4 bits representing individual parts obtained by equally dividing one recording block by 16 are allocated. Thus, a higher-density data volume can be handled without causing any inconvenience while utilizing an existing recording format.

摘要: The present invention provides a novel nitrile compound useful as an intermediate for the production of, for example, N,N-substituted cyclic amine derivatives or phenylacetonitrile derivatives that are useful as a medicine. 摘要: An internal combustion engine having a direct cylinder injection and including a variable valve timing mechanism for at least changing the time of closing of the intake valve. The fuel injection timing and intake valve closing timing are controlled so that under low and mid-range engine speeds, but high loads, the intake valve is closed before the piston reaches bottom dead center position on its intake stroke so as to reduce the effective compression ratio. Fuel injection timing is begun before the piston has reached its bottom dead center position during the intake stroke under high-speed, high-load conditions and is not initiated until after the piston has reached its bottom dead center position and begun its compression stroke under other engine running conditions. The engine is provided with an injector location and piston with a bowl in its head that improves fuel stratification under at least some running conditions so as to permit lean burn operation. The intake valves are offset to one side of a plane containing the axis of the cylinder bore, and the fuel injector is disposed between a pair of intake ports and below them so as to direct its injection axis toward the exhaust side and toward the recess in the head of the piston. A projection on the cylinder head surface prevents direct impingement of the fuel on the spark plug and also directs some of the injected fuel toward the exhaust valves to improve vaporization and exhaust valve cooling.

摘要: An evaporation cooling module for cooling plural semiconductor chips bonded on circuit boards immersed in a coolant within the module employs immersed heat exchangers associated with bubble traps which trap gaseous bubbles of evaporated coolant and maintain same in contact with the heat exchanger for improved reliquification efficiency. Bubble guides, which may be mounted to the circuit boards intermediate vertically spaced rows of semiconductor chips, guide gaseous bubbles of the evaporated coolant to the bubble trap, producing local convection coolant currents affording increased reliquification efficiency by released gases and improved temperature uniformity of the plural semiconductor chips. Use of immersed heat exchangers avoids decrease in reliquification efficiency since isolated therefrom. Bubble traps of predetermined porosity permit preferential separation of gaseous bubbles of the evaporated coolant and the undesired released gases.
