    摘要： The high quality silicon wafer of large diameter is invented by mainly paying attention to the particles ascribed to the crystal and the wafer is optimal for manufacturing ultra highly integrated devices. The silicon wafer is of diameter of 300 mm and larger sliced from a single-crystal silicon ingot pulled by CZ method, the surface is mirror-polished and cleaned with ammonia based cleaning solution, and the number of particles of 0.083 &mgr;m and larger in size detected on its main surface is 120 and smaller and/or particles of 0.090 &mgr;m and larger in size is smaller than 80.

    摘要： An ATM switching system concentrates cell streams, which are output by respective ones of a plurality of line interfaces, by a concentrator, enters a resulting cell stream into an ATM switch unit, deconcentrates cells, which have been switched by the ATM switch unit, by a deconcentrator on a per line interface basis and sends the cells to lines. Each line interface converts a VPI/VCI included in the header of a cell that has entered from a line to an internal cell address having a number of bits smaller than the number of bits of the VPI/VCI. Each unit in the ATM switching system performs management of various data and controls cell switching based upon a converted cell address without relying upon the VPI/VCI. The line interface restores an internal cell address, which is included in the header of a cell that enters from the side of the ATM switch, to the VPI/VCI and sends the cell to a line.

    摘要： An anilide compound represented by formula (I): ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2, which may be the same or different, each represent an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms; n represents 0, 1 or 2; A represents an alkylene group having 1 to 14 carbon atoms or a group represented by --CH.sub.2 CO--; and Ar represents a phenyl group, a phenyl group substituted with a halogen atom, a nitro group, an alkyl group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkoxy group having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, an alkanoyl group having 2 to 5 carbon atoms or a trifluoromethyl group, a benzyl group, a pyridyl group, a pyridyl group substituted with a halogen atom or a trifluoromethyl group, or a pyrimidyl group, or a salt thereof. The disclosed anilide compounds have potent ACAT inhibitory activity.

    摘要： A packaging bag is provided with a bag body and thermoplastic resin-made reinforcing members provided at the outer edge of the bag body. A window is provided in each reinforcing member. In forming the packaging bag, the bag body is placed between a pair of molds respectively having recesses to clamp these two molds so that a corresponding pair of the recesses are opposed to each other. Thereafter, in order to form the reinforcing members at the outer edge of the bag body, melted or softened thermoplastic resin is injected to fill cavities formed by the recesses of the thus clamped molds. Each of the cavities of the molds is formed so as to coincide with an outer shape of the corresponding reinforcing member. A projection extends from the bottom face of each recess at a part of the cavity corresponding to a part of each reinforcing member on which the window is provided. The outer edge of the bag body placed between the two molds is placed inside the cavities in a state of being held between the two projections.
