    摘要: A composite unit including metal and resin wherein a metal member and a resin member are formed integrally. A seal film made of resin or rubber having high affinity to metal and characterized by flexibility is interposed between contact surfaces of the metal member and the resin member. The seal film is formed of a dispersion having as its main component a copolymer of alkyl methacrylate-alkyl acrylate. The metal member is formed of an Fe group material and the resin member is formed of polyamide resin. The seal film, after being coated on the outer surface of the metal member as a liquid material is embedded in the resin member by insert-molding resin. The metal member is formed to provide a bracket of a starter motor and the resin member to provide a brush holder. A seal member made of rubber is baked onto the contact surfaces between the bracket and the brush holder, and the seal member is embedded in the brush holder made of resin.

    摘要: A platinum wire (2) is wound in the form of coil. An outer surface of the coiled wire (2) is overcoated with a glass member (4). The coiled wire (2) is welded to supporting member (3). An exothermic resistor (1; 1A, 1B) comprised the coiled wire (12), the glass member (4) and the supporting member (3), and has no bobbin therein. Such an exothermic resistor (1; 1A, 1B) free from a bobbin is used as a hot wire element (1A) and a cold wire element (1B) in a hot wire air flow meter. The quantity of heat generated on the coiled wire (2) hardly transmit through the supporting member (3) and is carried away almost through air. The transient response characteristics under sudden change of an amount of air flow can be improved.

    摘要: A self-oscillating vibrator exciting circuit utilizing a drive transistor that operates in a switching mode. The ON-period of the transistor is determined by base/emitter inductance and capacitance and base/collector capacitance, while the OFF-period of the transistor is determined by collector/emitter inductance and capacitance. The vibrator is connected between transistor collector and emitter, and the ON-period frequency of the transistor is set in the neighborhood of the resonance frequency of the vibrator so that the vibrator exciting circuit oscillates generally at the resonance frequency of the vibrator.

An optical fiber coupler includes: a first optical fiber having a core and a clad coating the core; a second optical fiber having a core; and a fusion-drawn portion formed by arranging the first optical fiber and the second optical fiber so that their longitudinal directions are in the same direction and fusing the clad of the first optical fiber and the core of the second optical fiber. The clad of the first optical fiber has a larger refractive index than the core of the second optical fiber.
