    摘要： A sizing instrument for measuring a bodily joint bounded by top and bottom surfaces, such as a disc space bounded by a top vertebra and a bottom vertebra, including a jaw assembly, a handle assembly, and an indicator portion. The jaw assembly includes an upper contact pad and a lower contact pad. The upper pad is adapted to substantially rigidly engage the top surface, and the lower pad is adapted to substantially rigidly engage the bottom surface. The handle assembly is linked to the jaw assembly and is adapted to vary a distance between the upper contact pad and the lower contact pad. In turn, the indicator portion is adapted to communicate the distance between the upper contact pad and the lower contact pad.

    摘要： A device for detecting wear of switching contacts in an electric switch appliance is disclosed, the wear of the contacts being caused at least at a pair of switching contacts appliance. The device includes a lightwave guide and a detector. A light exiting from at least one light source is capable of being injected into the lightwave guide and guided by the lightwave guide up to the detector. The lightwave guide is arranged relative to the pair(s) of switching contacts, such that the intensity of the light injected in the lightwave guide, which is measured by the detector, decreases in the switching appliance as the number of wear particles of contacts generated by the wear of the contacts increases.

    摘要： The invention relates to a contact arrangement for a vacuum switch tube for low-voltage power switches. The aim of the invention is to reduce the contact force required to control short circuit currents. To this end, a twin-contact contact arrangement is used wherein every contact comprises a plurality of separate individual contacts having a defined spring rate. At least one of the contact bodies (4) is configured as a two-layer spiral contact with a lower layer consisting of a highly elastic material and an upper layer (7) consisting of a highly electroconductive material. A contact coat (9) consisting of a contact material is provided on the upper layer in the outer zone of every contact arm (10).
