    摘要： A steel ball operated burglar proof device adapted for use in automobile, and particularly mounted on an engine hood and a trunk lid, which is actuated to work once the engine hood or trunk lid is tiltedly lifted at one end. The present device mainly includes a mounting seat and an actuation device with the latter attached on the former, and the former fixed to the inside of the engine hood or trunk lid. The actuation device is made up of a connection terminal, a washer, first and second water sealing rings, a rivet, a tiny steel ball all of which are housed in a torch-shaped metallic casing with the steel ball disposed at the bottom thereof. The connection terminal is coupled to an alarm so that the lifting of the engine hood or trunk lid can cause the tiny steel ball to roll toward the bottom of the rivet, and the contact of the steel ball with the rivet will make the alarm operate instantly.

    摘要： A vehicle occupant safety system includes temperature, ambient, and interior monitoring modules. The temperature monitoring module includes at least one temperature sensor. The temperature monitoring module is configured to detect temperatures in zones within an interior of a vehicle. The ambient temperature sensor is configured to detect an ambient temperature within the interior of the vehicle. The interior monitoring module is configured to: based on the detected temperatures of the zones, determine for the zones at least one of a temperature gradient over time or a temperature gradient over space; determine if the ambient temperature is outside a predetermined range; and in response to the ambient temperature being outside the predetermined range and based on the at least one of a temperature gradient over time or a temperature gradient over space, detecting an occupant in the vehicle and performing a countermeasure to prevent an injury to the occupant.

    摘要： A medication dispensing system is provided and includes a medicine transfer device (MTD) and a controller. The MTD transfers medicine between first and second containers. The first container initially stores medicine. The controller: determines a first predetermined amount of medicine to be dispensed from the medicine dispensing system; causes the MTD to discharge a second predetermined amount of the medicine from the first container onto the MTD, and transfer a third predetermined amount of the medicine from the MTD to the second container; subsequent to the transfer of the third predetermined amount, determine whether the second container has greater than or equal to the first predetermined amount; and if the second container has less than the first predetermined amount, cause the MTD to transfer a portion of the medicine on the MTD into the second container or discharge a portion of the medicine in the first container onto the MTD.

Each version of the 3D video content may include a different viewing depth profile for the 3D video content. Data representative of a viewing distance between a viewer of 3D video content and a device may be determined. Based upon the received data, a particular version of the 3D video content of the plurality of versions having a viewing depth profile corresponding to the viewing distance may be determined.
