摘要: Provided are novel building integrable photovoltaic (BIP) modules and methods of fabricating thereof. A module may be fabricated from an insert having one or more photovoltaic cells by electrically interconnecting and mechanically integrating one or more connectors with the insert. Each connector may have one or more conductive elements, such as metal sockets and/or pins. At least two of all conductive elements are electrically connected to the photovoltaic cells using, for example, bus bars. These and other electrical components are electrically insulated using a temperature resistant material having a Relative Temperature Index (RTI) of at least about 115° C. The insulation may be provided before or during module fabrication by, for example, providing a prefabricated insulating housing and/or injection molding the temperature resistant material. The temperature resistant material and/or other materials may be used for mechanical integration of the one or more connectors with the insert.

The one or more optical elements are arranged to direct and optically concentrate sunlight onto the photovoltaic cells such that position that the directed sunlight impinges onto the strip follows a path moving along the strip without the optical elements tracking the sun as the sun traverses the sky during the day.

摘要: A monolithic multiple solar cell includes at least three partial cells, with a semiconductor mirror placed between two partial cells. The aim of the invention is to improve the radiation stability of said solar cell. For this purpose, the semiconductor mirror has a high degree of reflection in at least one part of a spectral absorption area of the partial cell which is arranged above the semiconductor mirror and a high degree of transmission within the spectral absorption range of the partial cell arranged below the semiconductor mirror.

摘要: A desiccant air conditioning system for heating an air stream entering a building space includes a conditioner having multiple structures arranged in a substantially vertical orientation. The structures are spaced apart from each other with an air stream gap between each pair of adjacent structures. Each structure has at least one outer surface facing an air stream gap across which a liquid desiccant can flow. An air stream flows through the air stream gaps between the structures such that the liquid desiccant humidifies the air stream. Each structure further includes a separate desiccant collector at a lower end of the at least one outer surface for collecting liquid desiccant that has flowed across the at least one outer surface of the structure. The desiccant collectors are spaced apart from each other to permit airflow therebetween. The conditioner also includes a heat source for heating a heat transfer fluid used to heat the liquid desiccant.

摘要: Solar energy collection and storage systems and processes of using such systems. Non-direct solar energy collection and storage systems can generate electricity from solar radiation using a solar thermoelectric generator and at the same time capture solar thermal energy in a working fluid. The working fluid can then transfer the heat to a thermal storage medium where the heat can be retrieved on demand to generate electricity and heat a fluid. Direct solar energy collection and storage systems can store solar thermal energy in a thermal storage medium directly from solar radiation and the heat from the thermal storage medium can be used on demand to generate electricity and heat a fluid.

摘要: A solar panel includes a plurality of solar cells, a bypass diode unit, and a heat spreader. The bypass diode unit includes a bypass diode coupled in an electrical shunting configuration across at least a first solar cell of the plurality of solar cells to bypass current around at least the first solar cell in an event of failure of the first solar cell. The heat spreader is disposed over a portion of one or more of the solar cells. The bypass diode unit is disposed on a first side of the heat spreader with the bypass diode in thermal contact with the heat spreader. A second side of the heat spreader is mounted in thermal contact with the one or more of the solar cells to dissipate heat generated in the bypass diode to the one or more of the solar cells.

摘要: A desiccant air conditioning system for treating an air stream entering a building space includes a conditioner having structures arranged in a substantially vertical orientation with an air stream gap between adjacent structures. An air stream flows through the air stream gaps and is exposed to the liquid desiccant and dehumidified when in some of the flow paths and exposed to water and humidified when in other flow paths. Each structure further includes a separate collector at a lower end of the at least one surface of that structure for collecting the liquid desiccant or water that has flowed across the at least one surface of the structure. The system also includes a diverter for diverting a portion of the air stream that has been dehumidified to a flow path where it is exposed to water where it absorbs a portion of the water and is thereby cooled.

摘要: A refrigerant jacket includes a refrigerant cooling member, a cover member and a strength member. The cooling member is constructed of aluminum or aluminum alloy that thermally contacts a heat emitting electrical part, and has a groove portion. A refrigerant tube of a refrigerant circuit fits into the groove portion. The cover member covers the refrigerant cooling member in a state where the refrigerant tube has been fitted into the groove portion. The strength member is higher in strength than the cooling member, and is fixed to the cooling member. The cover member has a cover-side through hole opposing the strength member. The strength member has a cover member fixing screw hole opposing the cover-side through hole. The cover member is fixed to the strength member by a cover member fixing screw that passes through the cover-side through hole and screws into threads of the cover member fixing screw hole.
