    摘要: A plasma processing apparatus includes a discharge window made of a dielectric material, a discharge chamber which is grounded and includes an opening formed at its one end and the discharge window provided at its other end facing the opening, a gas supply system which supplies a gas into the discharge chamber, a high-frequency power application mechanism which applies a high-frequency power to the gas to generate a plasma inside the discharge chamber, a substrate holder which can hold a substrate while facing the discharge window on the outer side of the discharge chamber, a shielding member which partially shields the plasma that impinges on the substrate, and a supporting member which supports the shielding member. The supporting member is grounded and fixed on the shielding member at a position which is farther from the substrate than the shielding member and different from that of the discharge window.

    摘要: A laser processing apparatus comprises a first shift mechanism including a first transparent member having a first incident face and a first output face that are parallel to each other; and a first motor that rotates the first transparent member around a first rotational axis. The first shift mechanism shifts the laser beam exiting from the first output face in a state parallel with the incident light on the first incident face in a first direction. The laser processing apparatus also comprises a second shift mechanism including a second transparent member including a second incident face and a second output face that are parallel to each other; and a second motor that rotates the second transparent member around the second rotational axis. The second rotating mechanism rotates the laser beam exiting from the second output face in a state parallel with the laser beam incident on the second incident face in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction. A light collecting lens collects the laser beam shifted with the second shift section to process a work. This configuration allows control of a taper angle of a hole formed by laser processing.

The solid-state laser oscillator oscillates a laser beam. The laser beam diameter controller controls a beam diameter of the laser beam, and includes an aperture. The aperture controls a beam quality of the laser beam defined by M2 so as to fall in a range of 85≦M2≦105. The optical fiber guides the controlled laser beam therein. The processing head includes a transfer optical system, and irradiates the guided laser beam to a surface of a workpiece to be processed by way of the transfer optical system.

    摘要: A laser-clad processing apparatus of the present invention is one which is for carrying out laser-clad processing onto a valve-seat portion of a cylinder head, and is characterized in that it comprises cylinder-head holding means (1) for holding a cylinder head (H) in an inclining manner so that the central axial line of a valve seat becomes the vertical direction, a laser-processing head (2) for irradiating a laser beam onto a process part of the valve seat and at the same time discharging a powdery material to this process part, rotary means (3) which rotates around the central axial line of the valve seat in such a state that the laser-processing head is inclined with respect to the vertical direction, and powdery-material supply means (4) for supplying the powdery material to the laser-processing head. Moreover, a laser-clad processing method of the present invention is characterized in that it fixes the cylinder head (H), and forms a clad layer while rotating the laser-processing head (2), which emits the laser beam with respect to the valve-seat portion of the cylinder head and discharges the powdery material, around the axial center line of the valve seat.
