摘要: A toroidal continuous variable transmission is disclosed in which a supporting shaft for mounting a power roller on a trunnion is kept from leaning thereby helping to ensure a stable speed ratio irrespective of operating conditions. A supporting shaft 5 is mounted to a trunnion 4 for pivoting movement and supports rotatably thereon on a rolling body 30 of a power roller 2. The supporting shaft 5 is press fitted in a fit structure 60 of a back plate 31 so as to form an integral unit. The back plate 31 is forced against the trunnion 4 by the action of a thrust force that is applied from the rolling body 30 through rolling elements 57. This suppresses the lean of the supporting shaft 5 relative to the trunnion 4, resulting in elimination speed ratio variations which might otherwise occur owing to a deviation of the rotational axis of the rolling body 30 in a direction along the pivotal shaft of the trunnion.

摘要: A buffer control circuit for a data processor which includes an operand buffer for storing operand data, and an instruction buffer for storing prefetched instruction data. The buffer control circuit includes a writing section and an outputting section. When an instruction decode signal is a branch instruction, the writing section reads out instruction data at a branch destination from a main memory and writes the instruction data in the operand buffer. When satisfaction of a condition of the branch instruction is signaled, the outputting section reads out the instruction data at the branch destination written in the operand buffer by the writing section and outputs the instruction data to an operating unit.

摘要: In a driving apparatus for a four-wheel drive vehicle in accordance with the present invention, a multiple disc clutch is incorporated between a front wheel driving system and a rear wheel driving system, a hydraulic chamber is formed in a fixed casing supporting rotatably a front differential case in the front wheel driving system and a clutch piston is disposed in the hydraulic chamber. Bearings are disposed between the clutch piston and the front differential case in order to enable them to rotate relatively. Hydraulic pressure generated from hydraulic pressure generation means disposed outside each driving system is caused to act on the clutch piston so that the multiple disc clutch is operated by the press force of the clutch piston through the front differential case and the differential operation of the front and rear wheel is restricted in accordance with the operation force of the multiple disc clutch. Accordingly, the size in the radial direction can be reduced in the axial direction of the apparatus itself, and even if there is any limitation to the space, a large hydraulic pressure is permitted to act on the muliple disc clutch by forming only the small hydraulic chamber described above.

摘要: A curvature estimation unit estimates the curvature of the road on which a vehicle is driving. A swivel angle setting unit is configured to perform a first mode in which a swivel angle of a lamp unit is set such that a light distribution pattern follows the travelling direction of the vehicle based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and perform a second mode in which a swivel angle of the lamp unit is set such that a shielded area created in a light distribution pattern follows the position of the vehicle detected by a vehicle position detector. A pattern determination unit determines a light distribution pattern such that the position of the vehicle detected by the vehicle position detector remains in the shielded area. A swivel angle setting unit performs the first mode when it is determined that the road is a curved road based on the curvature estimated by the curvature estimation unit, and performs the second mode when it is determined that the road is a straight road.
