摘要: A shared multi-user IP telephone device for receiving, based on SIP, calls transmitted over VoIP network, a system using such a device and method thereof. The shared multi-user IP telephone device includes a storage device for storing user profiles, an ID extraction portion for receiving from the VoIP network a SIP packet including at least the callee's ID, and extracting the ID contained in the SIP packet, and a personalized feature presentation portion for searching in the storage device for the user profile corresponding to the ID according to the extracted ID for presenting the corresponding personalized feature according to the search result. Thus it is possible for everyone using such a phone to receive directly the call for him/herself without anyone else or other device forwarding the call.

摘要: A local positioning system is proposed for wirelessly locating an object using existing features within a static environment, such as walls, as the references for determining the position of the system. An antenna 16 attached to the object transmits RF signals which are reflected by the surroundings. During a training mode, the reflected signals are used to train a neural network 22, 43 to map the position of the object to the characteristics of the reflected signals. During a working mode, the trained neural network is to identify the position of the object based on reflected signals in working mode. Optionally, the reflected signals may be subject to a clustering process before input to the neural network.

摘要: A new method for forming planarized high quality oxide shallow trench isolation is described. A nitride layer overlying a pad oxide layer is provided over the surface of a semiconductor substrate. A plurality of isolation trenches is etched through the nitride and pad oxide layers into the semiconductor substrate wherein there is at least one first wide nitride region between two of the isolation trenches and at least one second narrow nitride region between another two of the isolation trenches. A high density plasma (HDP) oxide layer is deposited over the nitride layer filling the isolation trenches wherein the HDP oxide deposits more thickly in the first region over the wide nitride layer and deposits more thinly in the second region over the narrow nitride layer and wherein the difference in step heights of the HDP oxide between the first region and a region overlying an isolation trench is a first height. A layer of spin-on-glass is coated over the HDP oxide layer wherein the difference in step heights of the spin-on-glass material between the first region and the region overlying an isolation trench is a second height smaller than the first height. The spin-on-glass layer and portions of the HDP oxide layer in the first region are etched away. The spin-on-glass layer and HDP oxide layer remaining are polished away wherein the substrate is planarized.

摘要: A non-volatile memory device structure. The non-volatile memory device structure comprises a first electrode formed from a first metal material, a resistive switching element overlying the first electrode. The resistive switching element comprises a metal oxide material characterized by one or more oxygen deficient sites. The device includes a second electrode overlying the resistive switching layer, the second electrode being formed from a second metal material. The second electrode is made from a noble metal. The one or more oxygen deficient sites are caused to migrate from one of the first electrode or the second electrode towards the other electrode upon a voltage applied to the first electrode or the second electrode. The device can have a continuous change in resistance upon applying a continuous voltage ramp, suitable for an analog device. Alternatively, the device can have a sharp change in resistance upon applying the continuous voltage ramp, suitable for a digital device.
