摘要: Disclosed is a non-natural ceramide compound effective for a sphingosine kinase activator, and thus useful for a skin disease treating agent. The sphingosine kinase activator enhances production of sphingosine-1-phosphate to show various physiological activities provided by sphingosine-1-phosphate. The physiological activities include the effects of: controlling multiplication and differentiation of keratinocytes, multiplication of fibroblasts and collagen synthesis, resulting in treatment of wounds, recovery of damaged skin functions in atopic dermatitis and psoriasis; inhibiting wrinkles and skin irritation caused by ultraviolet rays, followed by improvement of wrinkles and inhibition of skin aging; and reducing skin atrophy, which is a typical side effect of local application steroids. Therefore, the sphingosine kinase activator is useful for a skin disease treating agent for treating skin wounds, wrinkles, atopic dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, or skin atrophy caused by side effects of local application steroids.

摘要: A vehicle fuel intake system (10) includes an intake manifold (14), an injector pack assembly (18) and an air cleaner assembly (16). The injector pack assembly (18) includes an encapsulated lead frame (36) that provides electrical communication to fuel injectors (26). The intake manifold defines a fuel rail (22) and a cavity (24). Fuel vapors permeating from the fuel rail (22) are trapped in the cavity (24) and channeled back into the air intake passages (20). The air cleaner assembly (16) includes a filter (28) for absorbing fuel vapor emissions from unburned fuel escaping a non-operating engine (12). An actuator (30) moves the filter (28) between an open and closed position. Once the engine begins operation, the actuator (30) opens the filter (28) to allow unrestricted airflow through the intake manifold (14).

摘要: A fuel injection system for an internal combustion engine is provided that includes a fuel injector having an injector housing with first and second opposing portions. An injector passage extends between the first and second portions. A valve is disposed in the injector passage for selectively permitting fuel to flow from the first portion to the second portion. A fuel rail having a fuel passage includes a first opening receiving the first portion with the injector passage and fluid communication with the fuel passage. An intake manifold has a second opening receiving the second portion. A polymer layer extends from the fuel rail and intake manifold about at least a portion of the fuel injector sealing the first and second portions respectively to the fuel rail and intake manifold for preventing fuel from leaking from the fuel injection system. The injector wiring may also be integrated into the fuel injection system. The fuel rail may include a cavity for receiving wires that are connected to electrical contacts extending from the injectors into the cavity. A plastic material may be molded into the cavity to enclose the wires from the outside environment.

摘要: Described embodiments provide controlling signal transmission in a plurality of radio units. The plurality of radio units may be coupled to a digital unit. The digital unit may be spatially separated from the plurality of radio units. Signal quality measurements may be received from multiple radio units when a user equipment is located within an overlapping service area of the multiple radio units. Determination may be made as to whether to simultaneously use at least two of the multiple radio units to transmit a data signal to the user equipment based on the received signal quality measurements. At least two of the multiple radio units may be controlled to transmit a same data signal to the user equipment using a same channel based on the determination result.

摘要: The disclosure is related to controlling an operation bandwidth for a femtocell based on femtocell interference to a macrocell in order to minimize femtocell interference. A femtocell base station may include a measurement unit, a transmitting unit, and a control unit. The measurement unit may be configured to measure an interference amount of a macrocell adjacent to the femtocell base station. The transmitting unit may be configured to transmit the measured interference amount to a system. The control unit may be configured to i) accept an allocated operation bandwidth by the system and ii) control transmission and reception of signals with the allocated operation bandwidth. The operation bandwidth may be adjustable by the system based on the measured interference amount.
