The build piece is to a chemical etchant such that the support structure is removed from the build piece and the dimensions of the build piece corresponding to the desired part are reduced to a second set of dimensions.

Abstract: Provided is a grain-oriented electric steel sheet having superior magnetic property and to a grain-oriented electric steel sheet including 2.0 to 4.5 weight % of Si, 0.001 to 0.10 weight % of C, 0.010 weight % or lower of Al, 0.08 weight % or lower of Mn, 0.005 weight % or lower of N, 0.002 to 0.050 weight % of S, the remainder being Fe and other unavoidable impurities. The steel sheet having been subjected to secondary recrystallization using at least any one of grain boundary-segregated elementary S and an FeS precipitate as a grain growth inhibitor.

As a result, the rare-earth-compound powder can be efficiently and uniformly applied to the surfaces of the sintered magnet bodies.

Abstract: The invention relates to a steel and to a flat steel product produced therefrom that have optimized mechanical properties and at the same time can be produced at low cost, without having to rely for this on expensive alloying elements that are subject to great fluctuations with regard to their procurement costs. The steel and the flat steel product have for this purpose the following composition according to the invention (in % by weight): C: 0.11-0.16%; Si: 0.1-0.3%; Mn: 1.4-1.9%; Al: 0.02-0.1%; Cr: 0.45-0.85%; Ti: 0.025-0.06%; B: 0.0008-0.002%, the remainder Fe and impurities that are unavoidable for production-related reasons, which include contents of phosphorus, sulfur, nitrogen or molybdenum as long as the following respectively apply for their contents: P: ≤0.02%, S: ≤0.003%, N: ≤0.008%, Mo: ≤0.1%. Similarly, the invention relates to a method for producing a flat steel product that consists of a steel according to the invention.

Abstract: A cold rolled, annealed TRIP steel sheet which has a composition including (in wt. %): C: 0.1-0.3; Mn: 4-10, Al: 0.05-5, Si: 0.05-5; and Nb: 0.008-0.1, the remainder being iron and inevitable residuals. The cold rolled sheet has an ultimate tensile strength of at least 1000 MPa, and a total elongation of at least 15%. The cold rolled sheet may have at least 20% retained austenite in its microstructure and may have greater than 50% lath-type annealed ferrite structure. The cold rolled sheet may have an ultra fine grain size of less than 5 micron for the retained austenite and ferrite.

This non-thermal refined soft-nitrided component has an excellent bending straightening property and a high fatigue strength.
