    摘要: A position estimation system includes a mobile terminal; and a center communicating with the mobile terminal. The mobile terminal includes units to execute GPS positioning and base station positioning, respectively, and transmitters to transmit first and second positional information obtained by the GPS positioning and the base station positioning, respectively, to the center. The center includes a receiver to receive the first and second positional information, a position estimator to determine whether a user of the mobile terminal has boarded a train at a station, based on the second positional information if the mobile terminal has become incapable of executing the GPS positioning around the station, and if having determined that the user has boarded a train, to estimate which train was boarded by the user, based on a moving direction of the mobile terminal calculated from the second positional information.

A base station may receive a first measurement report from a user equipment (UE) that includes an indication of a measurement parameter associated with a first beamformed reference signal. The base station may receive additional measurement reports from the UE for additional base stations. The additional measurement reports may include an indication of measurement parameters associated with additional beamformed reference signals transmitted by the additional base stations. The base station may identify a location of the UE based on the first measurement report and the additional measurement report. Alternatively, the UE may transmit multiple beamformed sounding reference signals to multiple base stations, and a single base station may identify a location of the UE based on multiple reports collected from the multiple base stations.

The user equipment (120) and the base station (110) are comprised in a cellular communications network (100). A measurement report comprising measurement data associated with the measurement and a time of measurement thereof is received (301, 801) from the user equipment (120). One or more first type of data associated with the user equipment (120) at a respective point in time are retrieved (302, 802), which first type of data is localization corresponding data. Based on the time of measurement, first type of data that corresponds to the time of measurement is determined (303, 803) from the retrieved one or more first type of data. The determined first type of data is associated (304, 804) with the measurement data. The position of the measurement may then be determined based on the first localization corresponding data associated with the measurement data.

    摘要: Embodiments of the present invention relate to the field of communications, and provide a positioning method, apparatus, and system, so as to improve positioning precision. The method includes: determining, by a server, a positioning measurement parameter, and generating measurement configuration information carrying the positioning measurement parameter, where the positioning measurement parameter is a parameter that the server requests a terminal to measure and is used to position the terminal; sending, by the server, the measurement configuration information to the terminal through a base station; receiving, by the server through the base station, configuration response information returned by the terminal, where the configuration response information carries a positioning response parameter, and the positioning response parameter is a measurement result generated after the terminal measures the positioning measurement parameter; and positioning, by the server, the terminal according to the positioning response parameter carried in the configuration response information.

    摘要: A positioning method and apparatus based on an electronic device or application are disclosed. A particular embodiment of the method comprises: receiving a positioning request from an unpositionable electronic device or application, the positioning request comprising a timestamp acquiring location information of a positionable electronic device or application having a network identification identical to a network identification of the unpositionable electronic device or application, and a timestamp corresponding to the location information; and estimating location information of the unpositionable electronic device or application at a time corresponding to the timestamp of the positioning request, based on the location information of the positionable electronic device or application, the timestamp corresponding to the location information, and the timestamp of the positioning request. According to this embodiment, a high-accuracy positioning for an unpositionable electronic device or application is achieved. Thus, a content pushing or a pushing for an ordered search result based on location information can be customized and optimized, for an unpositionable electronic device or application with an accurate location, and the user may obtain more precise pushing information.
