摘要: In one general aspect, a method is disclosed for processing a pharmaceutical substance in a pharmaceutical processing system that includes lyophilizing a plurality of containers provided in a nest. A first controlled environment enclosure in the pharmaceutical processing system is isolated against an external environment, and a controlled environmental condition is established in the first controlled environment enclosure. The pharmaceutical substance is deposited into at least a portion of the plurality of containers in the first container nest at a filling station within the first controlled environment enclosure. The deposited pharmaceutical substance is lyophilized in the first container nest.

摘要: The present invention is directed at methods of preventing damages of a sterilization wrap for surgical instruments by utilizing tray belts. The tray belts are composed of an elongate member of substantially same width and a fastening means for connecting the two ends of the member. The methods comprise the steps of placing surgical instruments inside a sterilization tray, securely the tray belts around the tray, and wrapping a sterile wrap around the tray to form a sterilization pack. The methods may further comprise securing additional tray belts around the sterilization pack.

摘要: A method for filling dual-chamber systems in pre-sterilizable carrier systems includes providing at least one washed, siliconized and sterilized dual-chamber system in a magazine. The dual-chamber system includes respective separating elements separating the two chambers from each other. The magazine accommodates at least one dual-chamber system and is arranged in a container that is sealed with a closing element. The method additionally includes introducing the container into a clean room; opening the container and filling a first chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; and closing the first chamber. The method further includes filling a second chamber of the at least one dual-chamber system; closing the second chamber; and removing the system from the clean room.

In a further aspect, the present invention relates to a method for producing the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content. In another aspect, the present invention relates to the use of the diatomaceous earth composition with a low endotoxin content as a precoat agent for the precoat filtration in biopharmaceutical applications.

摘要: Systems and methods for aseptically filling pharmaceutical containers with pharmaceutical fluid are disclosed. In one general aspect, these are based on an aseptically sealable chamber that includes a transfer wall to which pre-sealed pharmaceutical source and receiving containers are mounted aseptically. A robotic arm and a syringe store are disposed within the chamber along with a sterilizing facility for establishing in the chamber an aseptic condition. The robotic arm can grip and operate syringes to inject and/or extract pharmaceutical products from the containers by piercing their closures with the needles of the syringes.
