摘要: An electrochemical voltage source has an anode containing lithium, a cathode containing manganese oxide, and a housing. The cathode and the anode are arranged in an interior of the housing and are arranged opposite one another. An electrolyte reservoir in the form of a compressible storage body, which receives an electrolyte, is arranged between the anode and the cathode. The storage body has a first side resting against an end face of the cathode and a second side, which faces away from the first side, and rests against an end face of the anode. The cathode experiences an increase in volume when the voltage source is discharged. The anode experiences a decrease in volume during the discharge. During the discharge, the absolute value of the volume increase of the cathode is at least as great as the absolute value of the volume decrease of the anode.

摘要: In one example, a system for a flow cell for a flow battery, comprising: a first flow field; and a polymeric frame, comprising: a top face; a bottom face, opposite the top face; a first side; a second side, opposite the first side; a first electrolyte inlet located on the top face and the first side of the polymeric frame; a first electrolyte outlet located on the top face and the second side of the polymeric frame; a first electrolyte inlet flow path located within the polymeric frame and coupled to the first electrolyte inlet; and a first electrolyte outlet flow path located within the polymeric frame and coupled to the first electrolyte outlet. In this way, shunt currents may be minimized by increasing the length and/or reducing the cross-sectional area of the electrolyte inlet and electrolyte outlet flow paths.

摘要: An apparatus for manufacturing a battery cell to enhance the electrolyte wettability to an electrode assembly in the battery cell is provided. The apparatus includes a battery cell tray in which one or more preliminary battery cells are housed and an excitation unit which makes a contact opposite to contacting one side of the battery cell tray to apply megasonic vibration to the preliminary battery cell in a state in which the preliminary battery cell is housed. A method for manufacturing a battery cell using the apparatus is also provided.

摘要: Provided are a centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism and a liquid injection method thereof. The centrifugal battery liquid injection mechanism comprises a liquid injection device and a driving device, the liquid injection device is provided with a piston mechanism and a liquid outlet head capable of being opened and closed, and one end of the liquid injection device close to the liquid outlet head is further provided with a liquid injection port capable of being opened and closed; and the liquid injection port is used for injecting a wetting liquid into the liquid injection device. The liquid injection device is connected with a to-be-wetted device through the liquid outlet head, so as to inject the wetting liquid into the to-be-wetted device. The driving device is connected with the to-be-wetted device for driving the to-be-wetted device to move.

摘要: A battery module includes a module housing having a lower housing, a pair of side housings, front and rear housings, and an upper housing, for respectively covering a lower portion, both side portions, front and rear portions, and an upper portion of a cell stack. The lower housing includes a base plate configured to cover an entire lower surface of the cell stack and having a hole region forming a channel in at least one side of the base plate along a longitudinal direction; and a plurality of spacers disposed at predetermined intervals along the base plate and configured to support the cell stack apart from a surface of the base plate to form an empty space between the cell stack and the base plate. The hole region communicates with the empty space so that a cooling medium can be supplied to the empty space.

摘要: The present application provides an end cover assembly, a secondary battery, a battery module, a device, a liquid-injection method and a device thereof. The end cover assembly for the secondary battery includes: an end cover, provided with a through hole for injecting electrolyte, and including a connecting portion; a sealing assembly, configured to seal the through hole; a locking-fixing member, configured to be movable relative to the connecting portion in a radial direction of the through hole, so as to realize switching between a locked state and an unlocked state of the locking-fixing member and the connecting portion. In the locked state, the locking-fixing member presses against the sealing assembly to restrict the end cover to be separated from the sealing assembly; in the unlocked state, the end cover and the sealing assembly are separable to allow electrolyte to be injected from the through hole.
