    摘要: A method of determining angular position (θ) of a rotor of an N-phase permanent magnet motor (PMM). A processor having an associated stored angular position determination (APD) algorithm is programmed to implement the algorithm to cause an associated motor controller to execute steps including forcing one vector at a time a phase vector set of current or voltage vectors to stator terminals of windings for the N-phases a positive and negative magnitude vector, wherein the vector magnitude is sufficiently small to not move the rotor, and a time duration for the forcing current or voltage vectors is essentially constant. The resulting stator current or voltage levels are measured for each current or voltage vector. An N-dimension current vector or voltage vector is generated from superposition of the resulting stator current levels or resulting stator voltage levels. The N-dimension current vector or voltage vector is used to determine angular position.

    摘要: A method and apparatus directly regulate the output currents (i.sub.RX, i.sub.SX, i.sub.TX) of an inverter that feeds a predetermined number of induction machines. This method and apparatus is applicable to an inverter feeding one or more induction machines without rotational speed actual value sensors. The regulation is achieved by means of a secondary current control to which is supplied a current command variable system (i.sub.RW, i.sub.SW, i.sub.TW). According to the invention the current command variable system (i.sub.RW, i.sub.SW, i.sub.TW) is determined from the inverter output currents (i.sub.RX, i.sub.SX, i.sub.TX) and the state signals (S.sub.R, S.sub.S, S.sub.T) of the current switches of the inverter, from a calculation of the actual values of the active and reactive powers (P/U.sub.d, P.sub.q /U.sub.d) supplied to the motor, and a given rotational speed setpoint (n.sub.set), using field-oriented variables and simulating the actual rotational speed (n.sub.act). The actual values of the active and reactive powers (P/U.sub.d, P.sub.q /U.sub.d) are converted into the actual values of the active and reactive currents (i.sub.Wact, i.sub.Bact), which are then converted into field-oriented actual values. From an actual value of a fundamental-r.m.s. of the inverter output voltage (U.sub.X), the command value of the flux-forming current component (i.sub.dW) is determined. Consequently the frequency converter output currents (i.sub.RX, i.sub.SX, i.sub.TX) can be regulated directly achieving very good concentricity characteristics even at low output frequencies.

The phase current determination unit performs a determination process for determining values of phase currents based on the value of the bus current detected by a bus current detection unit and states of gate pulse signals. The time difference calculation unit calculates a difference between a detection time of the bus current used in a previous determination process and a detection time of the bus current used in a present determination process. The estimation unit estimates at least one of a position and a speed of an AC motor based on the values of the phase currents determined by the phase current determination unit and the difference calculated by the time difference calculation unit.

    摘要: A motor control system for controlling a brushless electric motor of a power operated actuator of a closure panel of a vehicle and method of operating the control system are provided. The control system includes a vector control system configured to receive a torque current based on a measured angular velocity of the motor and current of each of the phases and determine corresponding stationary reference frame voltages. The vector control system outputs pulse width modulation signals to the motor.
