Abstract:
An intravitreous stent includes a multi-loop single wire having a proximal end; a distal end; at least a first loop defined by the proximal end and a first portion of the single wire; at least a second loop defined by the distal end and a second portion of the single wire; wherein the first portion is joined to the second portion via a reversing loop portion.
Abstract:
Technologies are generally described for a systems, methods and devices effective to analyze a file. In some examples, a processor may receive the file. The file may include content and instructions. The content may include data executable by a browser. The processor may analyze the instructions. The processor may identify an internet protocol (IP) address in the instructions based on the analysis. The processor may compare the identified IP address with a list of IP addresses associated with an attack. The processor may generate an alert based on the comparison.
Abstract:
Technologies are generally described for systems, devices and methods effective to execute a first computing task by a processor of a data center. In some examples, the first computing task may be executed using an instruction set extension. Execution of the first computing task using the instruction set extension may require a first number of clock cycles. In other examples, execution of the first computing task without using the instruction set extension may require a second number of clock cycles. In some examples, a savings value may be determined. The savings value may represent a difference between the first number of clock cycles and the second number of clock cycles. An amount of processing time may be allocated on the processor to a second computing task. The amount of processing time may be based on the savings value. The second computing task may be different from the first computing task.
Abstract:
Disclosed are antioxidative, natural compounds, their salts, chelates and cleavage derivatives that exhibit a superior combination of properties. The compounds can be used for a variety of purposes, including stabilizing foods, cosmetics, beverages and nutritional supplements. The compounds can be prepared by hydrolyzing a fulvic acid of formula I or VIII to provide at least one antioxidant compounds of formula II, formula III, formula IV, formula V, formula VI, formula VII, salts, or chelates thereof.
Abstract:
In one example, a method includes generating a first digital code that represents a content of a document created by a first user; and notarizing the creation of the document by triggering a plurality of remittances from a first account associated with the first user to a second account, with each of the plurality of remittances time-stamped and a respective amount of each of the plurality of remittances indicating a corresponding portion of the first digital code.
Abstract:
An odor sensing system including a plurality of odor sensors, each odor sensor being configured to output a detection signal in response to at least one odor molecule; at least one chromatographic membrane disposed at the plurality of odor sensors through which the odor molecule diffuses to reach the odor sensor; and a pattern analyzer configured to analyze the detection signals over time to identify the odor molecule is described.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein are methods and devices for treating diverticular disease. The method can include injecting a sterile fluid between a mucosal layer of the diverticulum and a serosal layer of the diverticulum to form an expanded cavity in the diverticulum comprising the sterile fluid; injecting a filler material in the expanded cavity; and removing at least a portion of the sterile fluid from the expanded cavity. The device can include a flexible overtube having a lumen; a flexible shaft at least partially disposed within the lumen of the flexible overtube; a cutting tip at a distal end of the flexible shaft; an input port fluidly coupled to the lumen of the flexible shaft; and an output port fluidly coupled to a proximal end of the lumen of the overtube. Also disclosed herein are systems and kits for treating diverticular disease.
Abstract:
Embodiment of the disclosure set forth methods for sharing data in a wireless network. Some example methods include storing in a database a content related information associated with a first mobile device, receiving a request for the content related information from a second mobile device, searching the database for the content related information, and transmitting a search result to the second mobile device to enable the transfer of content between the first mobile device and the second mobile device.
Abstract:
Technologies are generally provided for reactive loop sensing in multi-datacenter deployments. In some examples, tagged metrics from deployment elements on different datacenter or platform providers may be used by a stability module to generate a synthetic generalized deployment model that aliases multiple system elements into general state vectors. The state vectors may include a transfer vector on the border between each datacenter or platform, and the feedback from the metrics may cause the states of the datacenters/platforms to match the deployment's unobserved variables allowing stability analysis before failure. For example, the metrics may be associated with a portion of the deployment on one of the multiple datacenters. The stability analysis module may compare the received metrics with model metrics derived from a model of the multi-datacenter deployment to determine the stability of the deployment and/or adjust the model for increased stability.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for improving tolerances of in-plane optical alignment of optical interconnects. An example method includes depositing a first reflector with a first spectral reflectivity on an end of an optical fiber, coupling a laser to another end of the optical fiber, changing a spectral reflectivity of a region of the first reflector adjacent to the end of a core of the optical fiber from the first spectral reflectivity by exposure to the laser, resulting in a first reflector with multiple regions of spectral reflectivity, and coupling the first reflector to an integrated unit comprising an optical cavity deposited on a second reflector.
