摘要: A magnetic recording medium having a layer containing as a lubricant one or more organo-polysiloxane compounds having the following formula (I): ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 is a divalent hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 5 carbon atoms; R.sub.2 is a monovalent hydrocarbon residue having from 7 to 21 carbon atoms; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 may be the same or different and are --CH.sub.3, --(CH.sub.2).sub.2 (CF.sub.2).sub.k CF.sub.3 or --R.sub.1 SCOR.sub.2 ; k is 0 or an integer ranging from 1 to 12; each of l, m and n is independently 0 or an integer ranging from 1 to 200 and the sum of 1+m+n is up to 300, with the proviso that when at least one of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is the group --R.sub.1 SCOR.sub.2, each of l, m and n may be 0 and that when at least one of R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 is a group other than the group --R.sub.1 SCOR.sub.2, each of l and m may be 0 but n is an integer ranging from 1 to 200).

摘要: The magnetic recording media are constructed such that a lubricating layer containing an amine compound represented by the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R is a hydrocarbon residue having from 7 to 21 carbon atoms and n is an integer ranging from 1 to 10) is disposed on at least one surface of a non-magnetic substrate with a magnetic layer. The magnetic recording media have an improved lubricating characteristics with a low friction coefficient.

摘要: A tire puncture detecting device having a pressure chamber defined by a flexible diaphragm and held in communication with the interior of the tire, an atmospheric chamber communicating with the atmosphere, and a spring plate member disposed in the pressure chamber and supporting on the front face thereof a magnet and on the rear face thereof a central portion of the flexible diaphragm. The spring plate member is normally maintained in a retracted position under the air pressure in the pressure chamber against the bias of a resilient member disposed rearwardly of the spring plate member. When a reduction in the air pressure in the pressure chamber exceeds a predetermined degree, the spring plate member buckles so as to quickly project forwardly under the force of the resilient member. In this manner, the magnet supported on the spring plate member is moved closer to an alarm circuit switch located in front of the device and energizable by magnetic force, thereby actuating the switch. Puncturing of the tire is thus detected rapidly and reliably.

摘要: Provided are a rubber composition suitable for cushion rubbers of retreaded tires in which tread rubbers of tires such as truck and bus tires (TBR) and aircraft tires are replaced for reuse, and a rubber composition which is suitable for adhesion carried out by interposing the rubber composition between vulcanized rubber members and covulcanizing them in a tire prepared by adhering separately vulcanized rubber members and which is excellent in a productivity. The rubber composition is characterized by comprising 0.3 to 2.5 parts by mass of aldehydeamines, 0.1 to 1.5 part by mass of at least one compound selected from a group consisting of tetra(2-ethylhexyl)thiuram disulfide, 1,6-bis(N,N′-dibenzylthiocarbamoyldithio)-hexane and 1,6-bis{N,N′-di(2-ethylhexyl)thiocarbamoyldithio}-hexane, and 0.1 to 2.5 parts by mass of a thiazole type vulcanization accelerator based on 100 parts by mass of a rubber component.

摘要: Provided is a retreaded tire that uses cushion rubber for retread that is able to further improve the prevention of separation failure while effectively suppressing blowout within the cushion rubber layer. The retreaded tire includes cushion rubber for retread, a base tire, and precured tread rubber formed of at least one rubber layer, and is characterized by: the aforementioned cushion rubber for retreaded tires being formed from a rubber composition containing specific quantities of a highly reinforcing carbon black of at least HAF grade, and natural rubber and/or synthetic polyisoprene rubber; the 100% modulus (AM) of the rubber layer (A) that comprises the aforementioned cushion rubber for retread being at least 3.0 MPa and less than 6.0 MPa; and the outermost layer (B) of the aforementioned base tire and the innermost layer (C) of the aforementioned precured tread rubber being formed from a rubber composition containing specific quantities of natural rubber and/or synthetic polyisoprene rubber.
