    摘要: One inventive aspect relates to an optical information recording medium which has a high gloss and ensures, even after printing, a gloss substantially equal to that before the printing, and which can increase quality of a printed image. The optical information recording medium has an ink absorbing layer made of a porous film, which is formed on an outermost layer on a surface thereof on the side opposed to a recording/reproducing surface of the optical information recording medium. The optical information recording medium has a surface gloss of the ink absorbing layer is about 25 or more in terms of 60° specular gloss before printing and has a level after the printing which is equal to or higher than a level before the printing.

    摘要: There is provided a studless tire that is excellent especially in performance on a snow or ice road. A studless tire, wherein non-metal staple fibers having an average fiber diameter of 1 to 100 μm and an average length of 0.1 to 5 mm are dispersed in a diene rubber in such a way that the non-metal staple fibers are oriented in a thickness direction of a tread, a complex elastic modulus E1 in the thickness direction of the tread and an elastic module E2 in a circumferential direction of the tire measured at 25° C. satisfy the equation 1.1≦E1/E2≦4, and hardness of the tread rubber measured at −10° C. is 45 to 75 degrees.

    摘要: A fabrication method of a semiconductor laser capable of controlling a polarization mode of output light is disclosed. In the fabrication method, after two laser portions are independently formed, the laser portions are positioned to be optically coupled to each other. In another fabrication method of the laser, after at least portions of two laser portions are separately formed, an irregularly-formed portion at a boundary portion therebetween is removed. The fabrication method can be facilitated and a degree of freedom in the polarization control can be increased, since the two laser portions are separately formed.
