摘要: The display device comprises a driver (10, 16) which supplies drive pulses to the pixels (18) to bring the pixels (18) in a predetermined optical state corresponding to image information to be displayed. A controller (15) controls the driver (10, 16) to successively supply a drive pulse (Vni) and a correction pulse (dni). The drive pulse (Vni) has a voltage level that is sufficiently high to bring the electrophoretic particles (8, 9) into a continuously moving state as long as the drive pulse (Vni) is present. Due to the history of the drive of the pixel (18) the desired optical state will usually be reached approximately only. The correction pulse (dni) has a voltage level which is too low for bringing the electrophoretic particles (8, 9) into a continuously moving state, as the drive pulse (Vni) does, but high enough for moving the electrophoretic particles (8, 9) over a relatively small distance with respect to dimensions of the pixels (18). Thus, the correction pulse (dni) causes a relatively small movement of the electrophoretic particles (8, 9) towards an equilibrium state.

摘要: The systems and methods disclosed herein relate to digital data communication systems, and more particularly, the systems and methods relate to systems and methods for facilitating digital communication between a modem equipped meter and a central data acquisition system. In one example, the system has the central data acquisition system, a first telemetry device that utilizes a modem for data communication, and a second telemetry device with a processor for communicating with the first telemetry device, and a digital cellular radio for communicating with the processor. The processor relays digital meter data from the first telemetry device to the digital cellular radio and the digital cellular radio transmits the digital meter data to the central data acquisition system. This system allows the utility company to transmit the reading of utility consumption by a consumer without the use of telephone lines.

摘要: The present invention provides a cooking grate for use within a barbecue grill assembly comprising a cooking chamber and a gas burner positioned in a lower portion of the cooking chamber. The grate has a plurality of elongated members defining a cooking surface and multiple openings. The grate further has a grease control assembly that is cooperatively positioned over a burner flame region to direct and control the flow of grease generated by cooking food on the grate. The grease control assembly has at least one rib group and at least one ledge. The rib group comprises a plurality of ribs, each rib having a first inclined surface and a second inclined surface. The grease control assembly also has an outer ridge and an inner ridge depending from a lower surface of the grate. With these structures, the grate prevents grease and byproducts from draining onto the burner flame region.

摘要: A riding toy converts between a traditional or conventional upright trike configuration and a low slung chopper configuration. A front frame tube is joined to a head tube to which the front wheel and handlebars are piviotally attached. A rear frame tube is joined to a pair of rear wheels. The front and rear frame tubes are joined by a pivot shaft so that they rotate relative to one another. As a result, the rear portion of the riding toy may be flipped over to reconfigure the riding toy between the trike and chopper configurations. An opening is formed in the front frame tube and receives spring-loaded buttons that turn with the rear frame tube so that the riding toy may be locked in the desired configuration. The front frame tube is also split and features a clamp so that it can clamp down on a guide sleeve that is attached to the rear frame tube.
