    摘要: A hybrid compressor system affords maximum cooling capability by making full use of an additional motor to improve the fuel consumption efficiency of a vehicle while ensuring passenger compartment cooling when the engine is stopped. The hybrid compressor system includes a compression unit for compressing a refrigerant, a motor for driving the compression unit, and disconnection means for disconnecting the drive force of a vehicle engine. In the hybrid compressor system, when the thermal load of the refrigeration cycle system lies within a predetermined range in a higher load region, the control means connects the disconnection means to allow the vehicle engine to drive the compression unit. When the thermal load of the refrigeration cycle system lies within a lower load region of the predetermined range, the control means disconnects the disconnection means to allow the motor to drive the compression unit even while the vehicle engine is running.

    摘要: The hybrid compressor apparatus is composed of a compressor in which fluid is compressed by varying a volumetric capacity of a compression space provided between a first compression member and a second compression member, which are movable independently of each other, according to rotation of the first compression member relative to the second compression member, a motor rotatable upon receipt of power of an external electric source, and a driven member rotatably driven by motive force transmitted from an external driving source. The first compression member is connected with the driven member and the second compressor is connected with the motor. If maximum discharge amount is required for the compressor, the motor is driven separately by a control device when the driven member drives the first compression member so that the second compression member is rotated in a direction opposite to that of the first compression member.

The controlled compressor apparatus includes a compressor 110, included in a refrigeration circuit 200, of a variable volume type for compressing a refrigerant; a motor 120 powered by a battery 12 to operate; and a controller 130 for selecting the driving force provided either by the engine 10 or the motor 120 to drive the compressor 110 and control its discharge volume. The controller 130 causes the motor 120 to operate the compressor 110 such that the compressor 110 is turned on or off at a discharge volume of the compressor 110 that larger within a variable range than that required for operating the refrigeration circuit 200.

    摘要: An air-conditioner for use in an automotive vehicle, an engine of which is stopped every time the vehicle stops at an intersection, includes a usual refrigeration cycle having a main compressor driven by the engine and a sub-circuit having a sub-compressor driven by an electric motor. The sub-compressor is connected in parallel to the main compressor, and both compressors are alternately driven. Refrigerant mixed with lubricant circulating in the main refrigeration cycle is prevented from entering into the sub-circuit while the sub-compressor is not in operation by means of a piping structure of the sub-circuit. When the refrigerant enters into the sub-circuit, it is efficiently returned to the main refrigeration cycle by intermittently operating the sub-compressor while the main compressor is operating.

    摘要: A scroll-type variable-capacity compressor is disclosed in which a single spool is moved to open or close bypass ports and thereby change the capacity of compression chambers. Especially, the capacity can be controlled in satisfactory manner by opening the bypass ports to a specific position. Specifically, a first bypass port is arranged in the neighborhood of the contact point between the inner surface of the spiral wall of a fixed scroll and the outer surface of the spiral wall of a movable scroll making up one of the compression chambers with the capacity thereof reduced to a predetermined level. A second bypass port is arranged at a position on the side beyond a discharge port from the first bypass port but where the discharge port is not located on the line connecting the particular position and the first bypass port. The opening of the second bypass port is arranged at such a position as to be closed by the spiral wall of the movable scroll defining the other compression chamber in the state described above.

    摘要: In a swash plate type compressor, a rotational shaft makes a piston reciprocate through a swash plate. A suction valve plate is connected to an eccentric portion of the shaft and caused to orbit around an axis of the shaft by rotation of the shaft. Friction between the suction valve plate and a contacting end wall in which a suction port is formed naturally suppresses the rotational motion of the valve plate. Therefore, the valve plate substantially orbits about the shaft axis without rotating and opens and closes the suction port. A relative velocity between the valve plate and the end wall when the valve plate orbits without rotating is smaller than when the valve plate only rotates.

    摘要: A movable scroll element for a scroll type compressor is produced by a combination of a mold casting process and a machining process. The mold casting process produces a cast product having an end-plate forming portion, a spiral-member-forming portion and a projecting portion for forming a drive power receiving portion. The cast product has an entire outer faces covered with black scale, and the machining process machines the end-plate-forming portion, a spiral member forming portion, the projecting portion by cutting. Nevertheless, at least an outer circumference of the drive power receiving portion, i.e., a boss portion of the movable scroll element is covered with an outermost layer consisting of black scale. Thus, a sufficient mechanical strength of the movable scroll element is obtained even if the wall thickness of the drive power receiving portion, i.e., the boss portion of the movable scroll element, is reduced.
