Abstract:
Deflections from a desired trajectory of an ion beam outputted from an analyzer magnet are corrected with real-time monitoring of the ion beam deflection. Conductive structures are located close to the boundary of the beam exit, where each conductive structure is electrically insulated from other conductive structures and the analyzer magnet. Then, during implantation of ions into a wafer, continuous measuring of any current appearing on each conductive structure occurs, such that any collision between the conductive structure(s) and the ion beam is real-time monitored. By properly adjusting the shape/location/number of the conductive structure(s), and by properly adjusting the relative geometric relation among the conductive structure(s) and the desired trajectory, both the deflected angle and the deflected direction can be real-time monitored. Hence, the on-going implantation process and the implanter can be adjusted/maintained.
Abstract:
A source-follower-type analogue buffer with an active load, a new compensating operation and a display with the source-follower-type analogue buffers are developed to reduce an error voltage which is the difference between an input voltage and an output voltage of the analogue buffer. The source-follower type analogue buffer can also minimize the variation from both the charging time and the device characteristics and maximize the range of the input voltage.
Abstract:
The invention discloses a programmable voltage-controlled oscillator. The programmable voltage-controlled oscillator has an output frequency. The programmable voltage-controlled oscillator includes a control unit, a current selector, a current mirror unit, an oscillator module, and a one-time-programming component. The one-time-programming component is used for providing a programmable code. The current selector is used for generating a selected current according to the programmable code. The current mirror unit is used for generating a first mirroring current and a second mirroring current according to the selected current. The oscillator module is used for oscillating according to the first mirroring current and the second mirroring current. After the programmable code is tuned to drive the output frequency to approach a predetermined frequency, the control unit will burn the tuned programmable code into one-time-programming component.
Abstract:
A backup shift register module having at least two backup shift registers is used to repair a defective main shift-register module. A normally open link is provided between the input of first backup shift register and the input of each odd-numbered main shift register, and between the output of first backup shift register and the input of each even-numbered main shift register. A normally open link is provided between the input of second backup shift register and the input of each even-numbered main shift register, and between the output of second backup shift register and the input of each odd-numbered main shift register. If one main shift register is defective, the input and output of the defective shift register are disconnected from the cascade link, and the normally open links are connected to the input of the defective shift register and the output of the next shift register are connected.

Abstract:
A process debug method used to identify at least one excursive machine in a manufacturing process comprising the following steps: First, a series of validity identification data is collected, and the serial validity identification data is associated with its pathway to obtain a plurality of validity identification data sequences in corresponding to the machines. Subsequently, a sorting process is conducted to cluster the validity identification data sequence into several groups, and the clustered groups are ranked into a first order. The validity identification data sequences are subjected a continuity analysis to determine the continuity of the defects occurring in a particular machine. And the continuities of the machines involved in a particular group are ranked into a second order. Accordingly, the excursive machines causing the defective end products in the manufacturing process can be identified by the way of joining the second orders according to the first order.
