摘要: A methodology for providing customers of an enterprise with ability to make donations to selected charities via a new transaction flow at ATMs is provided. The transaction is like a debit transaction. A transaction is described that works similarly to a transfer function. The transaction can be for the enterprise's customers; can be for ATMs; can be in any of a variety of available languages; and can have a fixed number of charity options per ATM. The ATMs can be grouped by geography or other criteria. The transaction options can be determined by region and can be updated on a periodic basis. The ability to update options within hours to support disaster-relief efforts is described. The receipt can print a donation disclaimer and the receipt printing can be automatic and override established printing preferences.

摘要: A tire monitoring system and associated method is disclosed. The tire monitoring system includes a plurality of tire sensor modules configured to transmit tire data in a wireless fashion at a predetermined time interval. The system also includes a vehicle control module that is configured to receive the tire data from the tire sensor modules, and is further configured to dictate the predetermined time interval at which the tire data is transmitted by the tire sensor modules.

摘要: A remote signaling receiver system includes a receiver that operates in two different modes of demodulation to accommodate different types of signals from different types of transmitting devices. A first demodulator, preferably an ASK demodulator, is adapted to process signals from a signal transmitter that generates a first type of signal. A second demodulator, preferably one that is not sensitive to amplitude modulation such as a FSK demodulator, is adapted to process signals received from at least one other type of device, which provides a second type of signal. A system designed according to this invention is particularly useful as a remote keyless entry system for a vehicle where one or more sensors are provided on the vehicle to provide an indication of a chosen condition of one or more of the vehicle components.

摘要: A cutting device is provided for making subcutaneous incisions. The cutting device has a housing forming a handle. A tubular blade sub-assembly extends from the housing. A trocar passes through the tubular blade sub-assembly and is configured to be positioned in a first active position, with a tip of the trocar extending beyond the end of the tubular blade sub-assembly and a second retracted position where the tip of the trocar is held within the end of tubular blade sub-assembly.

摘要: Methods and systems for sending a digitally signed electronic mail (email) comprising a message are described. A first canonicalization of a first version of the message is generated. A second canonicalization of a second version of the message is also generated. A single digital signature that includes both the first and second canonicalizations is generated. The digital signature is then sent with the message.

摘要: An interference canceller for a RFID reader senses a signal related to the interference signal in the receive path of the reader. The canceller outputs an adjustment signal that depends on the sensed signal, which is coupled into the receive path before a downconverter in the receive path. The canceller can use a signal derived from the transmit path in generating the adjustment signal. The canceller adjusts the amplitude or phase (or both) of the derived signal to form the adjustment signal so that it cancels a carrier feed-through interference signal when injected into the receive path. The canceller can include a vector modulator to adjust the amplitude and/or phase of the derived signal; or alternatively, the canceller can include a variable attenuator and a variable phase shifter to adjust the amplitude and/or phase of the derived signal. The loop can be continuous or non-continuous.

摘要: A method and system for verifying identification of an electronic mail message. An electronic mail message including a signature and a key is received, the signature identifying a domain from which the electronic mail message originated and the key for verifying the signature. A key registration server of the domain is accessed to verify the key. The key registration server provides for verifying that a key used to sign an electronic mail message is valid and that the sender is authorized by the domain to send the electronic mail message from the return address.

摘要: The subject invention pertains to systems and methods of data item synchronization. More specifically, the invention concerns synchronization of data entities utilizing an intermediary or shared storage system and associated data store. Each client sync device can include or be associated with an interface that facilitates communication between client synchronization devices and the intermediary storage system. The interface can send change information to the shared store utilizing change data packets including a data change attribute, a prerequisite knowledge attribute and a learned knowledge attribute. The data change attribute can specify changes to be made to certain data, while the attribute can include a complete copy or reference to a complete copy or single instance of data.
