The device has a first sensor placed in contact with a surface of the drum, such as a rim of the drum, and a second sensor placed at a fixed location relative to the drum, but not touching the drum. A method may be provided for interpreting the output of the sensors within the system, the method comprising identifying the onset of an audio event in audio data, selecting a window in the data for analysis, applying transforms to generate a representation of the audio event, and comparing that representation to expected representations in a model.

    摘要: A long-period vibration sensor includes an overdamped accelerometer including a magnet fixed to the inside of a casing, a detection coil disposed between magnetic poles formed due to the magnet, a bobbin configured to hold the detection coil, and a support spring configured to support the bobbin in the casing so that the bobbin can vibrate in a predetermined direction, a voltage being outputted from the detection coil when the bobbin is damped, a plurality of digital filters having different frequency characteristics from one another, a selection module configured to select one digital filter from the plurality of digital filters based on an output value of the voltage outputted from the overdamped accelerometer, and a correction module configured to correct the output value of the voltage outputted from the overdamped accelerometer using the digital filter selected by the selection module.

    摘要: A sensor assembly for sensing downhole parameters is provided. The sensor assembly is positionable in a downhole tool deployable into a subterranean formation to form a wellbore. The sensor assembly includes a carrier positionable in the downhole tool, at least one set of three accelerometers, and at least one set of three magnetometers. The carrier includes at least one set of three receptacles. The three receptacles are positioned radially about a periphery of the carrier at equal distances thereabout. The set of three accelerometers are correspondingly positionable in the at least one set of three receptacles, and the set of three magnetometers are correspondingly positionable in the at least one set of three receptacles. The set of three magnetometers includes two physical magnetometers and one virtual magnetometer. The virtual magnetometer is produced from the two physical magnetometers.

    摘要: A pressure gradient sensor for seismic and other applications utilizing the principle of diamagnetic drift. The sensor comprises at least one transducer, each transducer made of or containing a medium having at least one species of mobile charged particles such as electrons or holes that exhibit diamagnetic drift under a pressure gradient. A magnet and a pair of electrodes are installed in each transducer. Diamagnetic drift current collected by the electrodes can be measured by an ammeter or similar device, and formulas and methods are disclosed to determine the pressure gradient from the measured current.

    摘要: A measurement device is provided that determines fluid properties from vibration frequencies of a sample cavity. In one embodiment, the measurement device includes a sample flow tube, vibration source and detector mounted on the tube, and a measurement module. The sample flow tube receives a flow of sample fluid for characterization. The measurement module employs the vibration sources to generate vibrations in the tube. The measurement module combines the signals from the vibration detector on the tube to determine properties of the sample fluid, such as density, viscosity, compressibility, water fraction, and bubble size. The measurement module may further detect certain flow patterns such as slug flow, for example. To measure the sample fluid density, the measurement module determines the resonant frequency of the sample flow tube. The density can then be calculated according to a formula that compensates for the temperature and pressure of the system.
