Abstract: A method for information processing and corresponding electronic devices are provided. The method includes displaying a webpage of a first webpage style corresponding to a target link on a first display, acquiring a display parameter of a second display after the second display is connected, and determining whether the second display is of the same type as the first display to display the webpage via the first webpage style based on the display parameter. After determining that the second display is not of the same type as the first display, the method further includes sending a link request including identification information corresponding to a display type of the second display to the server to instruct the server to provide the webpage of a second webpage style, which is different from the first webpage style. The method further includes the second display displaying the webpage via the second webpage style.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the field of communications, and discloses a multi-account login and communication method, apparatus, and a mobile terminal. The login method includes: receiving, by a plurality of activity components respectively, information of accounts that need to be online simultaneously; transferring, by the activity components respectively, the information of accounts to corresponding service components in different processes via binding instances; and performing, by the service components respectively, login according to the information of accounts. Example embodiments of the present disclosure configure the service components in different service processes, and bind the service processes to processes where the corresponding activity components are located by using a binding mechanism. In this way, each account is bound to a corresponding service process through the binding mechanism, and simultaneous login of multiple accounts is implemented by using independence between the processes.

Abstract: AntMonitor is a system for passive monitoring, collection, and analysis of fine-grained, large-scale packet measurements from mobile devices. The system may be implemented on top of a VPN-based service and using two possible architectures: Client-Server or Mobile-Only. A current implementation of the Mobile-Only design may outperform other mobile-only approaches: it may achieve, for example, 2× and 8× faster (down and uplink) speeds, and close to the raw no-VPN throughput, while using 2-12× less energy. AntMonitor can scale to a large number of end-users, provide enhanced privacy protection, and enable accurate traffic classification. The system may support (i) real-time detection and prevention of private information leak-age from the device to the network; (ii) passive performance measurements network-wide as well as per-user; and (iii) traffic classification at different granularities (including per-application or per device, and user profiling) based on TCP/IP header features.

Abstract: The present disclosure includes an adaptive tile framework. In one embodiment, a method is disclosed comprising sending an access request from a mobile application operating on a mobile device to one or more remote systems, receiving a plurality of interactive features available on the remote systems based on a role of a user associated with the mobile application, associating the plurality interactive features with a plurality of tiles, where particular interactive features are associated with particular tiles, and where the tiles are user interface elements for interfacing with one or more specific interactive features of the remote systems, and displaying the tiles as a two-dimensional array having rows and columns of tiles. Abstract: An electronic device may derive information specific to the device, dynamically generate a matrix code that includes the information as well as user support information, and transmit the dynamically generated code to a display. When a user captures the matrix code with a reader device, the reader device may decode (or use a back end server to decode) the specific information specific and the user support information and initiate a user support request. Thus, user support for electronic devices may be facilitated utilizing dynamically generated matrix codes, such as (but not limited to) QR codes. In response to the initiated user support request, user support may then be provided for the user. Problems may be automatically taken care of for the user, tutorials may be provided for the user, one or more notifications may be provided to the user, service calls may be scheduled for the user, and so on.

Abstract: A method including playing a first interactive 3D simulation for a first 3D location of a computer graphics (CG) content clip for at least a first predetermined length of time. The method also includes, while playing the first interactive 3D simulation and within the first predetermined length of time, determining a first subset of the plurality of 3D assets to be downloaded for rendering two or more second 3D locations of the plurality of 3D locations; adapting the level of detail for one or more first 3D assets of the first subset of the plurality of 3D assets based at least in part on (a) a bandwidth for downloading the first subset of the plurality of 3D assets through the network, and (b) a processing power of the player device; and downloading the first subset of the plurality of 3D assets at the level of detail as adapted for the bandwidth and the processing power. The method additionally includes, after the first predetermined length of time, receiving a selection for a selected 3D location of the two or more second 3D locations. The method further includes playing a second interactive 3D simulation for the selected 3D location using at least a second subset of the first subset of the plurality of 3D assets, the second interactive 3D simulation being played devoid of delays for downloading and rendering the second interactive 3D simulation. Other embodiments are provided.

Abstract: A system and method for provisioning Internet access services to guests of a facility (e.g., one or more hotel chains). Equipment and devices for access service are installed throughout the facility. Each device that supports the Internet access services has a unique identifier. Zones representing various public and private areas within each facility are defined and one or more devices are associated with each zone. Service offerings for wired and wireless connections are defined and associated with one or more zones. Service offerings are also paired with pricing plans that provide various payment options and amounts. A web-based administration application allows an administrator to define and manage service offerings associated with the zones. The application also allows the administrator to define and manage the pricing plans. The ability to customize offerings in each facility allows development of consistent offerings, regardless of the size or layout of the facility.
