摘要: The present disclosure is directed to electrochemical cells having injection molded or 3D printed components, such as cathodes, anodes, and/or electrolytes, and methods for making such electrochemical cells. The cathodes, anodes, and/or electrolytes can be formed from a binder resin and various conductive and active materials, mixtures of which are injected into a mold under heat and pressure to form the components of the electrochemical cells. The cathode can include conductive metallic powder, flakes, ribbons, fibers, wires, and/or nanotubes. Further, electrochemical arrays can be formed from multiple electrochemical cells having injection molded or 3D printed components.

摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor including a capacitor element and an anode lead assembly is provided. The capacitor element includes a sintered, porous anode body; a dielectric layer overlying the sintered, porous anode body; and a cathode overlying the dielectric layer that includes a solid electrolyte. The anode lead assembly includes an anode lead tape having an embedded portion positioned within the anode body and an external portion extending from a surface of the anode body in a longitudinal direction, where the width of the anode lead tape is greater than the height of the anode lead tape. Meanwhile, a carrier lead wire is positioned external to the anode body and includes a first portion and a second portion. The first portion has a substantially planar surface that is connected to the substantially planar surface of the external portion of the anode lead tape.

摘要: The instant disclosure relates to a stacked-type solid electrolytic capacitor capable of increasing welding effect and a manufacturing method of the same. The stacked-type solid electrolytic capacitor includes a plurality of solid electrolytic capacitor units, each of which has an anode part and a cathode part connected to the anode part, characterized in that the anode part is formed with at least one buffering via-hole in a welding area thereof. When each of the anode parts is compressed in a welding process, the volume of the corresponding buffering via-hole decreases accordingly. Therefore, the soldering performance of the anode part solid electrolytic capacitor is enhanced and the connection stability is increased.

摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor includes: an insulating substrate; a capacitor element; a positive electrode lead-out structure; and a negative electrode lead-out structure. The positive electrode lead-out structure includes: a positive electrode terminal formed on the insulating substrate; a first positive electrode connection member formed on the insulating substrate; a second positive electrode connection member electrically connecting the first positive electrode connection member to the positive electrode terminal; and a pillow member configured to electrically connect the capacitor element to the first positive electrode connection member. The first positive electrode connection member has a recessed portion or a through hole. The recessed portion or the through hole overlaps an edge of a bottom surface of the pillow member having a first end of the recessed portion or the through hole disposed outside the edge and a second end of the recessed portion or the through hole disposed inside the edge.

摘要: A capacitor containing a solid electrolytic capacitor element including a sintered porous anode body and a relatively large diameter anode lead wire is provided. The lead wire is electrically connected to the anode body for connection to an anode termination. Further, the lead wire has a diameter that is at least about 10% of the height of the porous anode body to improve the points of contact between the anode body and wire to reduce ESR. A portion of the lead wire extends from a surface of the anode body in a longitudinal direction. At least one notch can be formed in the portion of the lead wire that extends from the anode body. The notch can be formed via a laser or by cutting, punching, or sawing and can serve as the point of electrical connection between the anode termination and the lead wire.

摘要: A production method efficiently produces a box sealed type solid electrolytic capacitor in which a capacitor element is accommodated in a box-shaped case. The method includes a step of preparing a bottom wall substrate having bottom walls. A step forms cathode anode circuit patterns on the bottom wall substrate. A step prepares a peripheral side wall substrate having peripheral side walls. A step prepares a peripheral side wall substrate in which a plurality of through-holes are provided that correspond to plurality of bottom wall structural portions. A step fixes a capacitor element to each bottom wall structural portion of the bottom wall substrate. A step obtains a capacitor continuous member in which a plurality of capacitor structural portions structuring a solid electrolytic capacitor by attaching an upper lid substrate on the peripheral side wall substrate. A step obtains a plurality of solid electrolytic capacitors by cutting the capacitor continuous member.

摘要: A solid electrolytic capacitor includes a capacitor element, a negative terminal, a positive terminal, and a resin package covering the capacitor element. The negative terminal and the positive terminal are joined respectively to a negative electrode section and a positive electrode section of the capacitor element. The negative terminal has a mount portion, a protruding portion, and a collecting portion. The mount portion has the negative electrode section disposed thereon, and is joined to an underside of the negative electrode via a conductive bonding portion. The protruding portion protrudes from a side edge of the mount portion in a same plane as the mount portion, and has a width narrowed stepwise in a protruding direction. The collecting portion is provided adjacent to a side edge of a part where the protruding portion is narrowed stepwise, and accommodates a part of the conductive bonding portion.
