摘要: A control device for a legged mobile robot has a unit which generates the time series of a future predicted value of a model external force manipulated variable as a feedback manipulated variable for reducing the deviation of the posture of the robot. A desired motion determining unit sequentially determines the instantaneous value of a desired motion such that the motion of the robot will reach or converge to a reaching target in the future in the case where it is assumed that the time series of an additional external force defined by the time series of a future predicted value of the model external force manipulated variable is additionally applied to the robot on a dynamic model.

摘要: An ink cassette includes a first part and a second part each of which has a first end provided with a substantially U-shaped bobbin holder and a second end provided with a similar bobbin holder. Each of the U-shaped bobbin holders has a pair of flexible arms defining a groove in which a pair of protrusions are provided. An ink ribbon set including an ink ribbon and two bobbins is stored in an ink ribbon supply container. The bobbins are supported at the same depth and spaced from each other a distance equal to a spacing between thee first and second parts. The ink cassette is overlaid on the ink ribbon set, with alignment marks aligned, and then the ink cassette is forced into the supply container. The bobbins are inserted past the protrusions into the grooves and are held around their axes by the arms.

摘要: A suction system for an internal combustion engine has branch pipes of an intake manifold disposed on and connected to a cylinder head through a swirl valve assembly. The swirl valve assembly includes first and second intake passages provided in a main body thereof and a swirl valve disposed in one of the first and second intake passages. The first and second intake passages communicate with a single combustion chamber, and a tank chamber is provided in the main body and is defined between first and second intake passage walls and a peripheral wall which surrounds the first and second intake passage walls. The tank chamber is further defined and closed off by being connected to a structure associated with either the branch pipes or the cylinder head, and a negative pressure introduction passage is provided in the main body and introduces negative suction pressure into the tank chamber from the other of the first and second intake passages.

摘要: A semiconductor disk device for storing or outputting data in accordance with a write request from an outer unit or a read request comprising a volatile memory for writing input data from the outer unit and for storing data to be read in the outer unit, a battery for supplying power to the semiconductor disk device when a power supply of the semiconductor disk device is interrupted, a nonvolatile storage outputting initially stored data to the volatile memory when the power supply is input, and operating with power supplied from the battery when the power supply is interrupted, thereby storing data stored in the volatile memory to save the stored data, a detecting section for detecting whether or not the battery can supply power, and a write-through setting section for changing a write-path of the input data from the outer unit to a write-through path where the input data is written onto not only the volatile memory but also the nonvolatile storage means when it is detected by the detecting means that the battery cannot supply power.

摘要: A temperature distribution measuring apparatus, which inputs pulsed-light into an optical fiber, measures backward Raman-scattered light generated in the optical fiber, and calculates a temperature distribution along the optical fiber in accordance with the ratio of the intensity of anti-Stokes' light to the intensity of Stokes' light of the backward Raman-scattered light. The apparatus comprises an optical filter for extracting the anti-Stokes' light and Stokes' light from the backward Raman-scattered light, an optical attenuator for attenuating the Stokes' light extracted by the optical filter, an optical switch for receiving the anti-Stokes' light extracted by the optical filter and the Stokes' light output from the optical attenuator, and selectively outputting one of the anti-Stokes' flight and Stokes' light, a light-receiving element for detecting the intensity of the light output from the optical switch, an amplifier for amplifying an analog electrical signal produced by the light-receiving element, an amplified analog-to-digital converter for converting the analog electrical signal into a digital signal, and a signal processor for measuring the temperature distribution along the optical fiber by processing the digital signal.
